  • Neck or spine surgery is serious business. That’s why it’s a good idea to get a second opinion before deciding to have surgery. Dr. Cantor has developed a revolutionary technique that eliminates or reduces the need for fusions, preserve mobility, function, and lifestyle.
    Why Ultrasonic Spine Surgery :
    • Shorter length of stay in hospital
    • Fewer complications during surgery
    • Reduced risk of “collateral damage” to surrounding tissue and spinal structure
    • Reduced use of plates and screws
    • Reduced infections
    • Lower readmissions into hospital
    • Less post-operative pain and reduced reliance on pain medications
    • Faster recovery
    • Enhanced mobility after treatment
    • Improved patient satisfaction

I was in that surgical room Dec 9 2020, c2 to c7 procedure with extraordinary success. I am a walking miracle after Dr Cantor’s expertise applied to my stenosis. I flew from the San Francisco Bay Area after exhausting the medical opportunities in my area. Dr Cantor and staff performed an outstanding procedure, he is light years ahead of most other physicians. I have full motion and other than a scare on my neck you would never suspect i had surgery. I have complete and full movement of my neck, and have completely healed at 71 years of age. I AM VERY HAPPY 😃 TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET DR CANTOR…

Today is December 9, 2021 exactly one year to the day of my surgery with Doctor Cantor. Extremely happy with my decision to have surgery by Doctor Cantor.
The following February 5, 2020 I spent seven days at Disney World in a return visit back to Florida, just 60 days from surgery. Unbelievable but true. Did on go on rides? Sure did, but carefully choosing appropriately rides. Walked the entire parks every day.
I’m from California and finding Doctor Cantor was a blessing. Thank you Doctor Cantor and staff.

I have reached out repeatedly, added extra insurance to cover out of zone and still not been able to talk with you yet Dr. Cantor. Your video's have shown that you could help me get my life back. I am tired of the constant pain, the band aid fixes and the pain killers. I know I'm not anyone of consequence but I could still really use your help. Lift me up or put me down just don't let me live like this if you could help. I appreciate your skills and approach, I understand that this is all fairly new but I'm willing to bet God revealed you to me. I believe that, thank you,

I have had the same problem I reached out with no reply hopefully other doctors will look and learn and maybe even improve on this technique, I am in Mexico and here my only options are for them to remove parts of my nack bone to replace them with implants, fusions and titanium screws don't seem like after this I could return to my regular life and get back to playing baseball which is literally the only vice I have. when will this become more widespread and covered by insurance - does ANYONE KNOW?

@@DrJeffreyCantor Hey Dr Cantor. Can you recommend a surgeon near me in the Virginia/North Carolina area that use your technique? The logistics of where you and myself reside makes it hard to have your office do ultrasonic surgery. I have severe L4/L5 stenosis and moderate L5/S1 stenosis with complications of collapsing disc. I was offered screws and rods, but for now the surgeon wants me to hold off as long as possible due to my age. If I need to call your office for the question of anyone you know near me, please let me know.
Thank you in advance for your videos and help.

I’m scared to death… I have cervical stenosis and need surgery due to severe narrowing on the (L) and mod to severe on the (R) from c2 all the way to c7.. and having a 3rd flare up much worse this time, going on my 6th week of numbness, tingling, muscle spasms between upper shoulder blades down into my (L) arm and burning tingling in my entire hand. I was told in 2018 it was bad then, but I recovered from the pain, but it’s back. The surgery that is being thrown at me by drs are fusion or hinges. I know the surgery is needed for I’ve been told I will eventually end up in a wheel chair and surgery is the only option to fix it. Your video of this new surgery is what I’m looking. I’m more scared of ending up in an even worse situation when I’m told I only have two options fusion from the front or hinges from the back - looks to me there’s a 3rd surgery option to keep my mobility with a positive view instead of worrying and feeling as if I will be on meds the rest of the life with the surgery options thrown at me. Why is this surgery not an option in North Carolina with insurance???? What do I need to do? I want the knowledge and this kind of experience an option of the newer surgery.

Hello what state are you in.
My first cervical fusion and laminectomy was in 2017 now since 2020 due to multiple symptoms that that is due to cervical instability. Foraminal stenosis is seen at levels above and below my fusion site. In addition since 2016 there is nerve sheath cyst at c8-t1 from 2016 through 2019 the reports always indicated small nr cyst than 2020-2021 they indicate same level but size of the cyst is not indicated. How does a patient know what kind of cyst it is and if it’s large enough to pinch the cord?

I spoke with a surgeon who turned me down because he said it would be too risky.
I’m currently 32 and I’m in so much pain that working at all is difficult for me.
It really saddens me to be disregarded by doctors when I really need their help.

My neck is such a fubar that what you describe for this patient would most likely be what I would end up with. 4 discs in my neck(C3-C7) herniated with narrowing on the spinal canal. Lower back has been through 6-7? surgeries to deal with issues there. Now a few areas there are showing major narrowing of the canal from stenosis. Degenerative disk disease was diagnosed years ago.
I have a question maybe you can answer for me. Laminaplasty videos show that usually some kind of 'fixation' is used after the grafts are put in. The x-rays you show don't seem to show any. Do you not need/use fixation or is it just not visible in this video/x-ray? Also, I would be very interested/fascinated to see an actual operation. There are a number that show the "traditional" way, fusion/fixation. I would love to watch the actual procedure.

Foot has spasms. My left back area to my knee into my foot is numb and tingling. I can walk fine and my left arm is not involved. I think the crazy symptoms has my spine Dr totally confused. Left foot the worse has drawing up and tingling all day long. It's crazy what the body can do. Each day I say could be worse and suffer through it. 9 months now.
