    WTH Seriously? CGI in dancing. Ram Charan(Raju) and NTR Jr(Bheem) are kick ass dancers. Especially NTR is a trained Kuchipudi (a classical Indian dance) dancer. Absolutely disrespectful to say such a thing. These actors are well known for their dancing skills. Do atleast some basic research before blurting out things. The original language of the movie is Telugu, just three syllables. There is a lot of wire work in this movie, actors doing all the hard work.

      Looking up their dancing on UA-cam, you are totally right about them being kick ass dancers!
      Their dancing skills are extremely impressive and no wonder there are tons of UA-cam videos highlighting their abilities.

    Generally western and Indian/Asian sensibilities are very different on the emotional register. Western emotions are more cynical whereas Indians are more earnest and heart on sleeve. So although neither type is bad, the West sees Indian movies are melodramatic and cheesy and Indian feel a lot of american movies and too ironic, bland and look dull.

    • @richasharma9777

      Agree 100%. Also as an Indian I cannot relate much to American movies. Deep emotions can't be felt in their movies.
      And even American superhero movies are quite dull.

    The last song is like a thank you from the crew members towards audience.

    Brothers, the ending Dance sequence is a Tribute and Homage to the great Revolutionaries of Freedom struggle. They made it a whole point to sing and dance completely for those great people and nothing cheesy or romantic. Also this was a thankyou from the creative team whom you distinctly praised later on the video, to the audience for sitting through the movie, which is the the movie director and Music director make an appearance on their behalf. Walking out of that sequence would not be disrespectful to the audience, rather the revolutionaries who are being respected and the movie team being respectful. It's like asking will it be disrespectful to audience to leave when the president is hoisting the flag. No, it is disrespectful to the president and the flag. You don't have to give two shits about audience, but you very much need to give a shit to the people conducting the honour and the thing/people being honoured. The final song sequence is the same. It has nothing to do with the plot, and only to do with the freedom struggle. Also the minor ending you see is also the homage paid directly to the Heroes that Bheem and Rams characters are based off of. So yes, the whole sequence including the dance and last bit of movie are all Homages and tribute to the total 10 great men and women of Freedom struggle. (8 in the song, and 2 in movie).
    And most importantly, the dance and song at the final end credits is unprecedented in Indian cinema. Jai Ho song in Slumdog millionaire was absurd to Indians for same reason. This is totally not a thing for us. SSRajamouli is making history with making an end credits song sequence. Hope I gave you some clarity on this.
    That aside , I really did like your review! Hope to watch more of your Indian Movie reviews.

      @@Abhimanyu_Gupta_05 cos they are presenting The 8 leaders for 8 regions of India during freedom struggle.. Sardar Patel was selected for Gujarat region over Gandhi as they are from same region. And while Gandhi has great respect, he is not respected above Patel for most Indians down South.
      You can also check a video on SSRajamouli s Dad who's a film writer on his comparison of Gandhi Vs Patel. I guess SSR shares similar opinions as his beloved father.

    LOL, those two are killer dancers. The only thing that they did was to tweak the frame rate so that it looks a little bit faster, not by much though. Check out their previous dancing performances in other movies. You would know how great of a dancers they both are.

    • @vijrever2770

      Did they tweak the frame rate ? The director said nothing about that and made it seem like he took 17 takes

    • @harishrao2000
      @harishrao2000 2 роки тому

      @@vijrever2770 They certainly tweaked the frame rate in some parts of the song if not the entire song. It was most evident during like few seconds at the end when they both are competing against each other. The 17 takes was to get perfect sync between those two.

    Just when I was thinking it’s a good review (well researched) 18:00… no offence but Guys the dance sequence you guys are talking about is not CG.. these are professional dancers… all tho I get it why you might felt like that cus they move very fast and frame rate as you mentioned is different then usual..but come guys you have do some research before assume such thing … it’s a disrespect for the actors and the movie.. even in corridor crew video they talk about how mach hard work that went into making that dance sequence alone… and they never mentioned CG involved on the actors for that sequence… good luck tho thanks for supporting Indian cinema. If you really care I suggest you watch some Of there previous dance sequences to know how good of a dancers these actors are.
