I’m 14 and I got 40-55. We actually discussed this with my grandma today and we both agreed. At school I often feel like I’m in the wrong place when literal 14-year-olds start drinking and smoking. They don’t realize how much it’ll affect their lives. Yesterday they threw a huge party while I was at home baking bread for my best friend😂

I’m a middle-schooler who got 40-55 years-old, I believe it’s actually true! I’ve always tried to act as mature as possible and resolve problems independently by what I’ve learnt on maintaining a peaceful relationship with another person. This was incredibly accurate, thank you-Psych2Go!

Ok, this is INSANE. I got 5 As, 4 Bs and 1 C. Using the average age of each group (for instance 47.5 for the 40-55 group), this leads to a psychological age of (5*47.5 + 4*30 + 1*15) / 10 = 37.25, so 37 and 3 months. My real (physical) age is 37 years, 3 months and 23 days 😅😅😅
I'm 12 but still scored 7 A's and 3 C's, aka mental age of 40-55. I agree with it, people always told me I'm mature for my age. After all, I believe most viewers of this channel fall into that category since we were open-minded and aware enough to be here in the first place!

I got 4 A's, 4 C's and 2 B's.. Which is surprisingly accurate, considering the fact that I can be both very mature for an 18 year-old, and also come across as a 9 year-old when I don't need to be mature
Your result will probably be much different if you take the test again in ten years. Our life experiences can changed us considerably, and you’ve many ahead of you at that age. I am 29 and got 5 A’s and 5 B’s. I’d say I’d have at least four C’s ten years ago.

I'm turning 14 this year and got 40-55, I'm not quite mature yet but I think I understood. Considering the fact that I get concerned when it came to issues in my country, I don't relate to my classmates (I'm a gen alpha) and how I plan more on my future since I'm constantly worried about my life, and living in a poor life makes me understand things. How I thought I needed this or that for my school when I actually needed this the most. Also, this made my day. :)
I’m 21 and got 40-55; makes sense based on past experience, even as a really young kid I was able to talk to adults pretty well. One nitpick tho- if you won the lottery the real correct answer is not to shove it in savings, but rather put a bunch in some etf/mutual funds for low risk growth. With that kind of money small percentage gains are pretty significant and you can take your gains as a salary of sorts, so that you won’t run out of money. Personally I’d probably start some sort of passion project(s), though idk exactly what that would entail; maybe something with my music or doing crazy UA-cam ideas or whatever
I'd also move countries first to make it harder for people to find me and steal from me, after that you can do whatever you want, if you wanna do what's smartest then you'd build up your skills and create a business out of it. At that point you've got all the time in the World anyway why not learn all that you can?

Many people actually think that people below the age of 14 are "children", and as this video said that it doesn't matter what their physical age is, and we need to focus more on their mental age to get to know them..... Alot of children know more than people in their 20s...information about both education and grown-up stuff😂....and we need to realize that children can make decisions, understand others feelings and find solutions to problems.....They're MORE responsible tbh.... Coming from a 13 year old😉
True.. honestly it's a bit annoying how they think all adults maturity are always right (superior). I think in my school we get educated that people above 10 to 17 is considered teenager because of puberty so they're not really children in some ways..

I got the first one, and I think its fair. I always kinda just took it and went on, but when I was younger, many people said I was very "mature," so I guess they were right to any extent!
I was almost evenly split between A and B, with one extra for B. Growing up, I was always viewed as a little adult, but now that I'm in my 30s I feel I've grown into my mental/emotional age. Being a perfectionist means I always took life quite seriously. It's only recently that I've tried exploring more of my childlike self again, and it's been very good for me!

You should surround yourself with likeminded people who think logically and strategically instead of people who are constantly in the moment and not thinking about their future. I’m 14 and I got 20-40 years with 6 B’s, 3 A’s, and 1 C. Pretty accurate honestly since I’m not that childish and neither am I too logical- This was really a fun quiz to do! I got mostly C’s, but my person perception of my mental age is all over the place, I’m an extremely logical and understanding person, but I am also a goofy goober, while at the same time having rapid mood swings and being very petty.

Hey, I know it can be really hard because it's hard to imagine how anything would even get done or anything without you, but please take breaks from acting older. It can be really mentally draining, which can end up affecting you physically. I am always told I'm so mature for my age and everything, when all I should be doing is living my life as a younger person. I don't know if there's any sort of situations going on where you're the only person who actually acts like an adult and you're more mature than the actual adults but please know that you don't have to be the adult in these situations 24/7. It's okay to not know what to do, and it's okay to act your age because when you grow up, you'll have spent so much time trying to act older that you'll probably end up acting younger than you are in future years. Take it easy, and you can talk if you want :)
It is, but keep it up. It'll sow benefits later in life (im 28) -- in your 20s people will come to respect your view on life and many will come to you for advice or an ear, as maturity seems to come w/well-roundedness and we therefore can produce empathy more often 🤷♀️ at least thats my experience. Point is, it'll cause others to like you later in your 20s, when people mature and come to respect wiseness more :) it's worth it! But do take breaks, as the person above said. Its all in moderation, and too much of any one thing is never good! Let yourself be childish sometimes, as a break.
Yeah I do know how you fell when I was in my preteens even before that I was watching my two year younger sister when my parents went out then I got a new baby brother when I was 10 so ended up like a third parent to them and watched them a lot it could be pretty tiring but when my little brother started liking me more then mom I laughed really hard and was actually pretty happy. Don’t get me wrong my parents were awesome they just fought a lot and my dad had a bad habit of staying up till 6 so he would wake up at about 3 everyday and my mom was at work sooooo oof big big oof. But something’s that helped were joining clubs and doing other habits. As weird as it sounds I started Square dancing as a fun way to get out of the house. Don’t worry it gets better when you get a little older. And remember if you get to stressed go for a walk or tell you parents it’s getting to much and just chill in your room or talk with friends. (Yikes this ended up much longer then I was guessing 😅 oops)
With my results, I scored A.=3 B.=4 C.=2. But some of the questions were easily a mix of all three. As for my mental age, there are times when it varies. Times where I want to have fun and explore like a kid, some that I don't know where to with my choices, and times where I know I'm smarter than my years. Sometimes, it ends up being a mix of all three, but it is a rare acurence.

I got 40-55 and I always felt as though my mind was older but my body is young, since I’m not only young in physical age but I also have plenty of energy. Mentally I always felt more mature.
I believe I did this quiz a few years ago, and back then I'm pretty sure most of my answers were A. However, having done it this time; most of my answers are B's, primarily because I realized trying to fight against my emotions and repress how I feel was only making me a weaker person - to be a sage demonstrates a level of ease against the adversities of life and/or a lack of experience in regards to self-reflection; we're all a lot more flawed than we'd like to think when we are faced with demanding circumstances.

I'm a new teacher fresh out of college and my kids always tell me how I act and sound like a grandpa. Needless to say, this quiz confirmed their suspicions that I am indeed (almost, given the 40-55 range) mentally a grandpa.
I got 10-20 but I believe that I’m a lot more mature than that. I think it has to do on the context and the scenarios, for example the first one: did the mistake hurt someone? Was it mean? Was it as simple as spilling a cup of water? The context is important.

Got mostly A, and i have to agree. I tend to feel like i am an elder already. I feel like i have already reached the end of my life, i already reached my goals in life and i got the answers i wanted for the things i was curious about. Life seems somewhat pointless now, so i'm just trying to enjoy it.

I retook this quiz a year later, and I got the same results. However, this time I agree with it. While I know to let lose and have fun, it’s important to take that responsibility and take life with both an emotional and logical stand point. It’s all about balance. I’m content with where I am now as I’ve grown more over the span of this year. Glad to know my mental age stayed the same though. I am only a year older than last time, so it still doesn’t fit my actual age
I got equal B's and A's with only 2 C's. So i guess i swing either way. And thats probably the most logical thing. Realistically the way mental age is stated in this atleast in my experience is very inaccurate. Mental age changes as you grow up based on your experiences. Usually based on larger possibly life changing events in your life. But its not like every single way you react in any circumstance will exactly conform to one age range. As your experiences will never change the way you do EVERYTHING but rather how you react or take action when it comes to certain topics or situations.

I alternate between feeling too young for my body or a little older than my age, so this fits really well! It's also a slight indicator into my ASD, where sometimes I can function as an adult and sometimes I need some help because my mind is a little behind.

From my notes, I calculated my primary answers (which resulted in 5 As), but I also wrote on the side a second option whenever I was was feeling torn from the choices. For example, for number 1 I felt that I was an A but I also somewhat related to B so I just put the latter in a bracket and decided to count that. So counting my secondary answers, I've tied to 4 Bs and 4Cs. Guess I'm all of them then. And I somehow agree with it. I deal with problems like an old person but view the world in with almost childlike optimism but with enough emotional insecurity to restrain it. So I'm a 21 year old who feels lost from relating to everyone but at the same time...not. Or atleast the sense of belonging is in shambles.
Okay- so- similar thing with me- I got 4 A's, and B and C tied with 3- i just got an equal age with B and C (20) and then bumped it up to mid twenties with the A's- so I'm a 15 yr old with the mind of a 25 yr old- makes sense-
How does that make you all of them? Every time you had a conflict you still chose A over the other two. Removing A as an option for any conflict for a /decision based quiz/ defeats the purpose. You’re just A ffs.

Honestly same. Whenever I can’t choose an answer I just put them all down and if it’s a point system then I just combine the points for that question. i’m glad I’m not the only one who does that lol
Mental age is something that in my experience you can also train to be flexible. Then you can react to a situation according to how you'll get the most out of it. Concious control over my mental age is one of my most valued skills, even if its still erratic and sometimes feels unstable switching from 5 to 80 in the span of 5 minutes. Deep Psycological thought and childlike fun in one head is a great thing to have. Although i do suppose there is has developed a highest age learning and judging on when which age is most beneficial and applieing them.

its not always mature to do things independently. it good to ask others for help, but its also important to not annoy them by asking too many times

I'm turning 14 this year and got 40-55, I'm not quite mature yet but I think I understood. Considering the fact that I get concerned when it came to issues in my country, I don't relate to my classmates (I'm a gen alpha) and how I plan more on my future since I'm constantly worried about my life, and living in a poor life makes me understand things. How I thought I needed this or that for my school when I actually needed this the most. Also, this made my day. :)

I’m 21 and got 40-55; makes sense based on past experience, even as a really young kid I was able to talk to adults pretty well.
One nitpick tho- if you won the lottery the real correct answer is not to shove it in savings, but rather put a bunch in some etf/mutual funds for low risk growth. With that kind of money small percentage gains are pretty significant and you can take your gains as a salary of sorts, so that you won’t run out of money. Personally I’d probably start some sort of passion project(s), though idk exactly what that would entail; maybe something with my music or doing crazy UA-cam ideas or whatever

I was almost evenly split between A and B, with one extra for B. Growing up, I was always viewed as a little adult, but now that I'm in my 30s I feel I've grown into my mental/emotional age. Hey, I know it can be really hard because it's hard to imagine how anything would even get done or anything without you, but please take breaks from acting older. It can be really mentally draining, which can end up affecting you physically. I am always told I'm so mature for my age and everything, when all I should be doing is living my life as a younger person. I don't know if there's any sort of situations going on where you're the only person who actually acts like an adult and you're more mature than the actual adults but please know that you don't have to be the adult in these situations 24/7. It's okay to not know what to do, and it's okay to act your age because when you grow up, you'll have spent so much time trying to act older that you'll probably end up acting younger than you are in future years. Take it easy, and you can talk if you want :)
It is, but keep it up. It'll sow benefits later in life (im 28) -- in your 20s people will come to respect your view on life and many will come to you for advice or an ear, as maturity seems to come w/well-roundedness and we therefore can produce empathy more often 🤷♀️ at least thats my experience.
Point is, it'll cause others to like you later in your 20s, when people mature and come to respect wiseness more :) it's worth it! But do take breaks, as the person above said. Its all in moderation, and too much of any one thing is never good! Let yourself be childish sometimes, as a break.

Yeah I do know how you fell when I was in my preteens even before that I was watching my two year younger sister when my parents went out then I got a new baby brother when I was 10 so ended up like a third parent to them and watched them a lot it could be pretty tiring but when my little brother started liking me more then mom I laughed really hard and was actually pretty happy. Don’t get me wrong my parents were awesome they just fought a lot and my dad had a bad habit of staying up till 6 so he would wake up at about 3 everyday and my mom was at work sooooo oof big big oof. But something’s that helped were joining clubs and doing other habits. As weird as it sounds I started Square dancing as a fun way to get out of the house. Don’t worry it gets better when you get a little older. And remember if you get to stressed go for a walk or tell you parents it’s getting to much and just chill in your room or talk with friends. (Yikes this ended up much longer then I was guessing 😅 oops)
With my results, I scored A.=3 B.=4 C.=2. But some of the questions were easily a mix of all three. As for my mental age, there are times when it varies. Times where I want to have fun and explore like a kid, some that I don't know where to with my choices, and times where I know I'm smarter than my years. Sometimes, it ends up being a mix of all three, but it is a rare acurence.

I believe I did this quiz a few years ago, and back then I'm pretty sure most of my answers were A. However, having done it this time; most of my answers are B's, primarily because I realized trying to fight against my emotions and repress how I feel was only making me a weaker person - to be a sage demonstrates a level of ease against the adversities of life and/or a lack of experience in regards to self-reflection; we're all a lot more flawed than we'd like to think when we are faced with demanding circumstances.

I retook this quiz a year later, and I got the same results. However, this time I agree with it. While I know to let lose and have fun, it’s important to take that responsibility and take life with both an emotional and logical stand point. It’s all about balance. I’m content with where I am now as I’ve grown more over the span of this year. Glad to know my mental age stayed the same though. I got equal B's and A's with only 2 C's. So i guess i swing either way. And thats probably the most logical thing. Realistically the way mental age is stated in this atleast in my experience is very inaccurate. Mental age changes as you grow up based on your experiences. Usually based on larger possibly life changing events in your life. But its not like every single way you react in any circumstance will exactly conform to one age range. As your experiences will never change the way you do EVERYTHING but rather how you react or take action when it comes to certain topics or situations.
I'm turning 20 this year, and got a mental age of 20-40! I got 5 B's and 4 C's, so my second place answer would be 10-20! I alternate between feeling too young for my body or a little older than my age, so this fits really well! It's also a slight indicator into my ASD, where sometimes I can function as an adult and sometimes I need some help because my mind is a little behind.

I’m 18 but got 40 to 55. I 100% agree with this. I grew up around a lot of adults and always had mature conversations. Definitely explains how I feel older sometimes.
Same here, I'm 17 but I grew up in a family with two psychologists (my parents), two doctors with multiple specialities (my grandparents) and two engineers (my uncles). From my notes, I calculated my primary answers (which resulted in 5 As), but I also wrote on the side a second option whenever I was was feeling torn from the choices. For example, for number 1 I felt that I was an A but I also somewhat related to B so I just put the latter in a bracket and decided to count that.
So counting my secondary answers, I've tied to 4 Bs and 4Cs.
Guess I'm all of them then. And I somehow agree with it. I deal with problems like an old person but view the world in with almost childlike optimism but with enough emotional insecurity to restrain it.
So I'm a 21 year old who feels lost from relating to everyone but at the same time...not. Or atleast the sense of belonging is in shambles.
Okay- so- similar thing with me- I got 4 A's, and B and C tied with 3- i just got an equal age with B and C (20) and then bumped it up to mid twenties with the A's- so I'm a 15 yr old with the mind of a 25 yr old- makes sense-
How does that make you all of them? Every time you had a conflict you still chose A over the other two. Removing A as an option for any conflict for a /decision based quiz/ defeats the purpose. You’re just A ffs.

Honestly same. Whenever I can’t choose an answer I just put them all down and if it’s a point system then I just combine the points for that question. i’m glad I’m not the only one who does that lol

Mental age is something that in my experience you can also train to be flexible. Then you can react to a situation according to how you'll get the most out of it. Concious control over my mental age is one of my most valued skills, even if its still erratic and sometimes feels unstable switching from 5 to 80 in the span of 5 minutes. Deep Psycological thought and childlike fun in one head is a great thing to have. Although i do suppose there is has developed a highest age learning and judging on when which age is most beneficial and applieing them.
My results were A:4 B:4 C:2 so imma say between 20-55 😅
