  • We have another Stuart on the bench that needs some attention. I don't know how long it has been since this engine was last run or if it was ever ran at all. Let's open it up to see what needs to be done and then give it shot. This is just the first trial run to see where we need to go from here. Thank you all for watching, sharing, commenting and subscribing. You guys are GREAT!

I will be sure to let the camera man know. I will also speak with the editing team and post production to relay that you were appalled by the focus issue on this masterpiece of a video. You would sure think that with the nearly 25 dollar fortune that we have generated from the channel I could afford better equipment and staff.

HEY how are you doing? If you get to many holes in the board just use some saw dust and glue to fill them in. I also like the color of this motor. Reminds me of the Acme Gridley
Multi-Spindle Screw Machines from the World War 2 that I set up, ran and rebuilt for 25yrs. Good to see it running. Have a good one my friend.

I have one of these 10V engines made in 1952 by my father,..........this model appears to be very stiff even after reassembling it......I can make mine work using mouth pressure alone which is about 2 PSI......for fun i have run it on a 2 litre Coca Cola bottle pumped up with a bicycle pump......2 litre Coke bottles will hold over 100psi.

4:03 could be piston-to-cylinder seal. It seems Stuart Models intends for steam oil to take the job of a piston ring up and since I dn't have any, mine has a metric shitton of blowby most days. I've found shoving a bit of wheel bearing grease down its throat tends to help.

8:44 what I did with my 10H. Machined kit. I don't yet have a lathe/mill to machine from castings.
