Photos and videos are insane on this video! Nicely done. Now we just need to get those box filters burned down and replace them with the best SPONGE filter created.....
My favorite is the 75 but I like them all, the Shell Dweller Neolamprologus Multifaciatus (Multi's) need a bigger tank, I have some in a 36" long 30 gallon tank and I think they are outgrowing that tank. They aren't the most colorful African Cichlid but they make up for it in personality. BTW they are constantly breeding, digging, and claiming territory, and I use the exact same shells from Amazon.
Really like the platies! Red wagtail is what I am looking at next to my desk :) Regarding the 10gallon you have with organic potting soil, how come you haven't made this a walstad tank? Would be packed with plants and 100% silent since self filtered!
Your plants are beautiful. We have some of the same fish, multis and Blue Hawaiian Moscow’s. I actually got mine from Bentley about a year and a half ago. They did not do well for months and months. It is now finally booming to the point where I’m finally selling some. Also mostly use the nicrew lights too. I’m a fan. Great tour
Your tanks are very nice and you’ve got a good assortment of fish. That guppy with two heads freaks me out a little I have too admit 😳. My kribensis are terrible parents and ate their first batch of fry? Maybe I’ll have better luck if they breed again. Your shrimp are on 🔥. I’d be happy if I purchased them. Cool video
I found your channel researching set up for dirted tanks. Enjoying your channel and subbed. Curious why you don't care so much for the Nicrew light. I bought one a few months ago. Just trying to learn as I go. Thanks!! beautiful tanks and set up btw. Love multis! My next tank!
@@DilettanteCulture I could be wrong, but At 6:12 something comes drifting in from the lower left. I thought it was just detritus, but it seemed to move tentacles like a hydra.
Very high quality shots! Quick question, if you have a Samsung phone, what settings would you recommend for photographing a tank? My favorite still you took in this video is of the Gardneri Killifish. Really brings the colors out! Also, a reason your hornwort may be dying is because it could be going through it's dying season. I have sometimes found that depending on the quality of the hornwort, it will die back for a while, and then come back from a very little plant.
I would just keep the video and photo settings maxed out, and try to introduce as much light to the tank as possible! I didn't know that about hornwort! Good to know!
Thanks Michael! I'll keep that in mind! About the hornwort, glad to help! I forgot to mention this but the lesser the length between each node of leaves, the less likely the hornwort is to die off. Also if the leaves have more 'texture' they will be stronger too.
Very cool. Then you're super close. Awesome man. I'm sure we must be in some of the same groups on FB then. Nice to know that there is someone around this area that doesn't only keep cichlids. ✌️
@@Hcamsd You probably need a real aquarium light graded for plants. Having the tank just in a brighter part of the room won't do much for them and they'll slow die from being light starved. Maybe do a little research and buy a LED aquarium light with the full spectrum and see if that helps, if you want to try again with plants.
That 75 gallon - WOW! It’s awesome!
I had a siamese twin guppy male for many years. Nice tanks.
I respect your space management
Incredibly helpful, and beautiful set up
Very nice. Thank you for sharing. - Little Bobby

Has been! Hope you're feeling better! Let me know if there's anything you need! :)

Hahahaha eventually I will probably switch over. Just effort 😂
Love the Multis. Setting up my shell dwellers tank now. Then I’ll need to buy the fish.
I've enjoyed them so far!

Great video, my favorite tank is to your 75, the plants and fish are awesome.
The tall stem plant is called Bacopa Caroliniana
Wow! That betta is gorgeous! Great tour through your tanks!

Hi, New sub here. I love the look of the 75. Great job on the aquascape.
Cheers,
Chris
I saw a hydra in one of the shots!!!
Do you have a timestamp?

Do you have channel stickers getting everyone's gonna do something cool
Where are you at in the bay area? I'm in benicia. Like the tanks. Have around 16 myself.
Antioch!

The guppies need hard water
I struggle so much with plants in my aquariums. They always die 😭 so it’s starts out looking nice and lush and a month later it’s bare and simple
I use to! What type of plants have you been trying? Both Aquarium Co-op ANd Bentley Pascoe on youtube are my favorite plant people!

Where do you buy your plants?
AquariumCoOp.com, OurFishColective.com, and My local Club Auctions!
Jesus Christ your tanks are beautiful!
Do you still keep grindal worms on a pad??
Nope. No microworms either. Mainly due to the fact I got lazy and let the colonies die out
@@DilettanteCulture I’m getting white worms tomorrow and I’m going to attempt to culture them for my goldfish and dojo loach.
I have one tank that hornwort will grow like crazy in. The rest not at all. Weird!
When I got my betta fish that Is what happened all the sudden everyone wanted to see my betta.
What happen to this channel why is it not updated and in addition the websites not really updated often?
