- Schools out and Mack and Caroline are suffering from a powerful dose of cabin fever! The best cure known to man is to get up early and go help Dad at work. No problem, though, these kids are handy!!
Low Country Cowboys is your internet destination for ranch life, cowboys, cowgirls, great ranch horses, and just life outside. We are an American family living out our dream of living with horses, cows, and each other! Its not always easy or romantic, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. From starting colts, to training cutting, rope, ranch and rodeo horses, working cows, cooking, playing with the dogs, and raising wild deer!! This is a special life!!
We don’t see horsemanship like this up are way. Love watching what you do ❤
Ich liebe Eure Videos! Beste Grüße aus Berlin Germany
You are one truly BLESSED family!!
i love that you are uploading more again! such great videos!
Nice to see that hackamore horse being patient tested! Very nice.
I live in south Florida in Ft. Lauderdale and I used to live in the country side of Texas I plan on buying my own ranch once I graduate I'm 17 now ,but I pray to God that one day I have my own ranch
I grew up on a small New England farm where we raised most of our own food. I'm eternally grateful.
Those kids have such gentle horses heck I’m 11 years old and m still riding a colt sized pony.
I like your videos and started watching because you seem humble and down to earth. Adding a little horsemanship to the video was the cherry on top. Keep up the good work and films.
Thanks for watching and the kind words!!
We are raising our son on our horse ranch in cave creek, az. We've recently had a couple of fires devastate the area and questioned if this was the best for our family. You said it best sir, no other way to live than this for sure. God bless you and yours. Your videos are great.
Nothing like kids, horses and a job to be done. Win:Win right down the line! Thanks for showing folks that fear, pain or ego isn't in the job description.
I will never have kids but I credit my compassion and sense of knowledge to growing up on a ranch. Animals just teach you something different you can't learn anywhere else. My very favorite memories of my entire life are my days on the ranch. Riding horses, rounding up cattle, cattle drives, sleeping under the stars, ECT. I hope to someday own a ranch I can pass on to my nieces and nephews, cause their parents are teaching them JUST about everything but that parental knowledge mixed with a ranch life will teach them absolutely everything they will need to be successful. Beautiful work y'all are doing here, teaching the Littles ranching. ♥️♥️♥️
Love your videos, liked how you put two stirrups on so your daughter could get into the saddle! Never thought of doing that!👍😁
I love these videos. I cant wait to see more.
Nice to see kids riding horses and being out with there dad instead of being on a iPad or computer! Got my horse when I was 9 he was 4 months old hes 30 now! Hes been my bestfriend I learned responsibly and how to ride on him! Like your videos
I raised my children on a farm n was able to give my children that type of life, with cattle n horses. My son has raised his children on his ranch, growing up the same way he was raised. Children raised the way you are raising your children are so blessed. To me you are giving them the greatest life possible. I feel so sorry for children raised in town, that have nothing better to do but watch tv n play video games. Those children will never get to experience the best life has to offer
That is awesome!
Another great video. Thanks Richard! 👏. You have a great way of dealing with the horses. Awesome to see the family enjoying the best part of life 😎. Love Caroline's horse by the way. 🐴. Be blessed from 🇿🇦
Hope u keep making videos richard I thank u much for taking ur time out of ur life for all us to enjoy. I think u are a great trainer richard ur good and seem to be patient . Scott james from montana
Thanks for watching and commenting Scott! If you’re ever in our area stop in and say hi. Richard
Awesome, branded with my daughter and grandson over the weekend nothing like it....
I wish I had this experience. Dont care how long it takes me. I'll die trying to get this life for myself. Dreamt of it my whole life.
Thank you Low Country Cowboys. I'm learning a lot from your channel. It's such precious videos that people can learn about the life with the nature and horses! Keep it up. Hope someday I can visit the place.
Raising kids in agriculture is the best. 2 of my children will cowboy for a living and the other 2 have learned hard work and are capable of handling life's challenges. I've been the guy circling the gate getting mad that my horse won't stand, I've gotten better with age.
Hey Richard so glad to see you're doing well! Even though I live in the city now, I was so fortunate that my children we're able to grow up when I had my horses and farm. I really enjoyed this video and it reminded me of the days when my life was so much better on our farm! Someday, hopefully I'll be able to teach and share my experience with my grandchildren!! Thank you for another amazing video and all your amazing training tips! ! I'm so happy my children can say they grew up this way! God bless and always much love from my family to yours❤️
Wow. Riding without using a bit. That’s awesome!!
I love your videos so much. I wish I grew up on a ranch like yours, but I grew up around horses. I started riding when I was only 3 years old. My dad owns his own business which we’re working there all the time, when I’m not working there, I’m usually out with the horses.
I would love to live on a ranch it’s my dream and when I get older I will live on a ranch😌
Y'all are all learning, good job!!
I love your videos n I know that you have probably been very busy but can you please do more videos. Thank you.

Be looking for some new episodes in Feb 2021. Thanks for watching!!
I am 10 can I still get a place on your ranch Mister I want to be a cowboy like you
Hello! I'm 17, I'm from Brazil and I've always dreamed to be a rancher. Despite sounding crazy, is there anything I could do to work for you guys? Like, buying a trip to USA and go there.
Going there*
Will there be more episodes of this serie?
I would love to volunteer or work at a cattle ranch and I’m 17 and I would love to do something like this and grey video ☺️
Can I come by and work on your ranch Mister and I will be a good kid
Please sir
i noticed you're riding bitless on one of the colts(?), is that hard to train colts like that? I'd love to go bitless if possible
@Abby Brown. It’s not hard at all. Soft hands and a good seat are all you need. Thanks for watching! Richard
@@LowCountryCowboys do you have lots of horses?
Are you going to make any more videos?
We are currently working on more LCC videos and hope to release some this month. In the meantime, check out b1horsemanship on UA-cam and www.b1horsemanship.com for tons more horse training and ranching content. Thanks for watching! Richard
Why no more video upload??
Why do these videos just end?
Also richard forgot to ask how long have u worked for this ranch ?
5 total years.
why no more vids
What brand and size saddles are the kids using? Looking for suggestions. Working with a 9 year old girl. Thanks!
Mack is riding a 12” corriente barrel saddle we’ve had for 15 years. I think they run around $750. Good for the money. Good luck and thanks for watching!
You can't imagine a better life..... because there is non. Please go no like this!
Spurs and bits are a no go on my ranch. Its not something I taught or allow my grandchildren to do. When they ask why I tell them to open their mouth I putthe bit in their mouth and ask do you like that? No? How about this as I poke them with a spur. No? The horses don't like it either. But mine are all wild, I get them off the range here on the Palouse. Its where the term appaloosa came from, the bastardizing of a Palouse horse. The horse Chief Joseph of the Nez Perez bred and rode. I'd rather have my mustangs then all them cow ponies in the world. Better horses.
do you teach your horses to neck rein? can't stand to see everybody using 2 hands to guide their horses,,,,
Hi Mike, they will transition to the neck rein over time. Thanks for watching!!
Richard
