Good review, even if it was 9 years ago, just scored a Grizzly 700 2011, and digging more about all of it. Love it so far, have a 660 as well, but the 700 with injection seem to give way more power.

I actually recommend that experienced riders put it IN four wheel drive for the "steepest" descents. This way you can hit the throttle if you start to endo forward and the front wheels will pull you out of it.

If you disagree then you're not experienced enough to know what I'm talking about. 2 wheel drive is generally the way to go, but try some really steep hills that sharply flatten off at the bottom like an "L" shape in 2 wheel drive. If you survive you will know to put it in 4x4 next time.

Great review! I've been really thinking of switching to this from my 05 Arctic Cat 500, I drove an 05 Grizzly 660 and it was really good, faster then you'd think as they are quite light, you guys got me thinkin now!
