Hey There! I have also been recommending this movie to friends, even if they are not into Bob Dylan! I think its worth checking out to see Timothee Chalamat's performance, the music used, as well as the costume design! Thanks so much for listening and for commenting!!
Loved how the director, the music and the actors transported me into the early to mid 60’s New York City life. The authentic recreation of the songs was so very naturally done with great musical and performances, acting across the board is high calibre, 2 hours went by very quickly, no dull moments.
Hey There! Yes, I'm totally with you, not a dull moment occurs in the movie, and every musical performance got me even more into the story!! Such a great movie! Thanks so much for commenting and listening!!
He spent 5 whole years working on this part, learning the guitar, the harmonica, and learning the sings. He filmed both versions info Dune and Wonka while Timmy was in his trailer working “on Dylan”. Filming was delayed by the writers’ strike and then COVID. As a long time Dylan fan, Timmy did him justice. (Go back and watch him in Call Me By Your Name. His first major film role; for which he was Oscar nominated for Best Actor.)
Hey There!! Oh man, 5 years!! Wow, that just shows the commitment that Timothee has for his art!! Appreciate the additional context, and yes Call Me By Your Name is definitely on my list to watch!! Thanks for commenting and listening!!!
I loved it it transported u back to Greenwich Village NYC 1961-1965 It was phenomenal his performance flawless Supporting cast amazing it is a movie u could watch over & over
Hey There! Yes, the production of the movie and sets they used, was what elevated the movie for me! And of course the performances from the entire cast makes the film even more engaging! I'm glad that you think this film is timeless!! Thanks for commenting and listening!!
I loved the movie and look forward to owning it. One thing I thought would be so much fun would be to film a "spin-off" movie of Johnny Cash with Boyd Holbrook as Cash. With all due respect to Joaquin Phoenix, Holbrook's Johnny Cash is more dangerous, more dynamic and more interesting...As strange as it sounds, I wanted more of him in a movie about Bob Dylan!
Hey There!! Im so glad you loved the movie and are going to purchase it when it's available! And yes, I think Holbrook played Cash in such a cool way! I don't think it's strange at all to want more Johnny Cash. The dynamic that Cash and Dylan had in the movie was awesome!! Thanks so much for commenting and listening!
Chalamet may not have gotten any awards at the rat hole Golden Globes, but all Dylan fans I've heard from were so grateful and appreciative of the fantastic live music that sounded so good and accurate❤
Hey There! Yea, I'm hoping he wins some type of award to recognize how great he was as Dylan! But like you mentioned, so many people appreciated his performance, he doesn't need an award, he's got the fans on his side that will remember how awesome he was! Thanks for commenting and listening!!
Hey There! That's so awesome that you have seen it twice! And yes the setting and design were some of my favorite parts as well! Thanks so much for commenting and listening!
Hey Stephanie!! I still haven't seen Beautiful Boy yet either! So that's two Chalamet movies that are in my queue, Beautiful Boy and Call me by Your Name!
Hey There! That's actually a great way to describe this film for folks that are new to Bob Dylan. Regarding what actually happened, I can totally see them dramatizing alot of it hahah. It worked for me though! Thanks so much for commenting and listening!
Hey There!! Totally respect your opinion! I really enjoyed the movie and thought Timothee Chalamet did great in the role as Bob Dylan! Thanks for commenting and listening!

Hey There! Oh that's awesome, I was really wondering where they filmed certain scenes throughout the movie! Appreciate the detail!
and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry was used!! Many pics were on FB of the filming in Cape May !!
Hey @! Yea, I recently saw a clip of the ferry that was used, and how long it took for them to set it up for the movie. It was really cool!

Hey Stephanie!! I still haven't seen Beautiful Boy yet either! So that's two Chalamet movies that are in my queue, Beautiful Boy and Call me by Your Name!
@@timelessmoviepodcast definitely watch them
as a "beginners" guide to Bob Dylan, this movie s great, as regards factual, its useless !

So let’s all idolize Bob Dylan, the movie was okay, and let’s all look at Timothy C. It is ridiculous. Hollywood is a huge diversion.
