I can feel your love of quality. Lots of passion there. It’s good because many of us are passionate about our bikes, parts and tools.

I’m not going to buy a torque wrench that I can’t get calibrated. When I attended United Bicycle Institute’s Professional Repair and Shop Operation course in Portland, Oregon in 2019, all of their small torque wrenches were the Giustaforza or Giustaforza Pro wrenches. One of the instructors told me that they were frequently calibrated and were almost never out of spec and even then not by much. Their midrange and high torque wrenches were CDI.

Good point! That's cool that the Giustaforzas get used for professional training - I really like them.

My Park Tool TW-5.2 failed after 5 years of careful use and storage. Turns out the Park Tool 'Lifetime' warranty doesn't include their torque wrenches. Their customer services were terrible and they were not interested in even investigating the failure (the control dial popped out), never mind a repair/recalibration. They insisted the tool had been dropped, which it had not. I've had to re-evaluate my opinion of Park Tool.

5:31 seems like the TW-5.2 might have been improved over TW-5, as that torque wrench has massive play in the head where it clicks, and also in the ratchet, adapter it come swith falls off too easily. 🤦 Even if I out on an different adapter by Jonesway I got at an automotive tool shop cus I lost the Parktool, eventually I found it. But it whelmed to keep it more secure, but optimal.
    Overprised, poor quality IMO.
The white letters eventually wear off.
    So do the sticker.
I got it cus a shop had it and I needed something. I want to get something better. Some your video being reccmended was a nice surprise.
I won't buy another Parktool. I'm in no rush but definitely want something better.

I was definitely not impressed with the quality of the TW-5.2, especially for the price. I think Park makes some great tools, but this is not one of them. Unfortunately, they seem to be offshoring more and more of their production every year.
