True, it’s should be torture to have lived his character. he was always not fond of anything he was forced to do. That’s why he didn’t snitch on harry at the Malfoy manor even if she knew it was him. Their manor and everything was pretty owned by Voldermort. Their family had no choice at that point. So he didn’t have a choice if he wanted to live and wanted his parents to live. All slytherins are not bad. They just have the potential to be one.
Only thing I don't understand is that all the Slytherins got sent to the dungeons so HOW is Draco standing outside. I love all the movies but it just doesn't make any sense.

If he had stayed he wouldn’t been attacked by Voldemort before Harry could “come back” Draco knew Harry was the only one who could save them all but he trusted his mother. I’m so mad that they cut out the scene where he throws Harry his wand. It was such an amazing moment of redemption and shows his full turnaround as a character.

Not even close. He was an absolutely vile person. I know Tom Felton is amazing but Malfoy was a puke and a coward. Just hours before this he tried to kill Harry and Co. He always chose himself and was cruel and mean even before the war. Once Voldemort rose again and his consequences started catching up to him and he realized what he'd hoped would happen for years was actually horrifying he still chose his own safety over what was right. Idk if you've just seen the movies but the books make it clear he's a bad person and doesn't redeem himself.

@@Almanatrix I read all the books before watching the movies and I have the same opinion, Draco only did the things he did and thought the things he thought because of the way his father raised him, and to make his father proud, he was never evil, he had many chances to actually harm Harry and he didn't, and you can see it in many movie scenes: when Harry did the Sectumsempra? when Harry was looking for the Diadem? when Harry was taken to Malfoy's house? Draco didn't harm him because he actually didn't want to, same reason why he didn't want to kill Dumbledore, he was on the dark side without choice
