  • Welcome to another virtual Quilt Snack! These snack-size portions of quilt research and learning are fun, quick intros and overviews of some of the most interesting topics in quilt studies today.
In this episode, Sue Reich talks about quilting for the war effort during World War II. This "snack" is a bit longer than our typical bite size... maybe more of a small meal. Who doesn't love more quilts in their day!? Enjoy!

Learned quite a great deal - thank you, Sue! What really struck me is how everyone came together to support the war effort which I had known, but in today’s climate it just made me wonder if it would happen now.
