Your concern for the bees is admirable, and the bees currently look happy in their home. I think I would just purchase a new Joraform compost tumbler. Happy gardening.
Holy shit! Not the compost; the bees! There’s so many! ❤ I think you should leave them alone since obviously they’re quite content. Compost comes and goes you can probably even buy it and do a thingy about organic compost for sale but bees are precious! Maybe in their cozy house they’ll leave you alone.
This is a perfect example of living in harmony with the animals around us. Bee's are so important and need to be respected, if you end up with a-little honey that your family can enjoy, I don't see a issue.
There's an additional problem with eating honey - it is essentially sugar that has been "set free," so our bodies don't have to break anything down to access it and it doesn't do us much good. So even if you can get it from "kind" beekeeping, it's best not to eat much of it! Looking forward to Part 2 - in expert hands, you're sure to do the right thing for these small but precious beings.
This was very interesting, I learned some things about bees and beehives. Hope the process goes smoothly so you can get your compost back and the bees can have a new home!
If you move a colony away from its original location, you run the risk of losing foragers, who always return to the location of the original nest! You can safely move the colony a few feet, or you can wait for all the foragers to return (e.g. in the evening) and then safely move the colony away from the site to a distance exceeding 3 miles.
Wouldnt it just be easier to let them have that compost box and get another compost box and put it somewhere else? Moving that huge beehive seems like its gonna be so much trouble just to save one compost bin.
As a foreign ur the most beautiful celebrity that I have seen on tv as a child. Seeing you now and how you are living ur life makes me so proud and happy for you! Despite ur status u are focusing on what really is important in life.
I was watching one of your movies and searched for your name on youtube to see how are you doing, you still look fabulous and the channel is amazing❤👏👏👏
It's nice that we live in such comfort with everything provided that we're able to be kind to bees. In civilizations in the past, people were simply trying to survive. When it comes down to the choice of you and your loved ones living or being kind to bees in that situation, I think the bees will lose. Or whatever animal/insect it may be.
Just curious why you have them if you aren't going to eat the homney I'm glad you have them actually so they are safe in your yard....What are u going to do with the honey do the bees eat it,,?
Alicia Silverstone is a wonderful person, great mom, and goddess of a woman. She is so talented and intelligent, and everything she does is from a good place… love, caring and compassion for animals, people, and the planet. She is truly an ambassador of kindness, pulling on people’s heart strings as well as intellect to promote positive change. Importantly, she is willing to meet people wherever they are in their life journeys, which is crucial for not alienating people and inspiring them to make positive changes in their lives; changes that will not only benefit them personally but will also positively affect the world, perhaps only in small ways on a personal level but in big ways cumulatively. Alicia is absolutely lovely, inspiring, and beautiful inside and out. The world is no doubt a better place for having her in it, and Alicia should be cherished for the treasure she is. Alicia Silverstone inspires me to try to live a more kind, healthy and beautiful life, my best life. Thank you Alicia.
Hi Alicia! My father in law has bee hives and he harvest the honey. It's delicious. By the way, just watched Reptile! Great movie!!! You were fantastic in it!❤ By the way , no bees are harmed when he gets the honey 🍯.
Keeping honeybees is a process. I highly reccomend you pay a beekeeper to make sure they stay safe. Unfortunately less than 20% of bees who swarm make it because they don't get proper care!
Get a beehive box and relocate the queen. A little bit of smoke, which does not hurt them, and remove the comb and put it next to the beehive. They will move into it.
do you know Ludwig van Beethoven from Bonn ( 1770 - 1827 ) at the time he was the great composer - today he is compost 😀and maybe Beethoven and Elise was a invention of William Shakespeare - like Romeo and Juliet 😀have a nice day and take a flight with the Pan Am "Lipper Ocean Pearl" 😀

You are such a beautiful person. I love your content and the warmth you exude ❤
I'm excited for the part 2!
Let the bees have this batch of compost and figure out a way easy to compost so they can't get in?!

Yes, bees use honey, and they will pollinate her garden even if she doesn't harvest any of their honey to eat herself.
You keep them because we need bees to pollinate our plants.
The bees are wild and arrived of their own free will. She doesn't want to force them out.

I can get get 7 pallets behind Home Depot and a handful of repurposed screws and make you a better double-sided compost bin.

When you talk about honey as nobody might know I’m a person less like honey because I don’t eat honey . Honey is not my thing in my body .
This upsets me a lot. Why not just get a new compost?

Why don't you eat honey
I'd let them have the composter and buy a new composter. It would be a much kinder process.
I Crazy for you 👉😍
Hey Alicia now that you are vegan do your dumps smell any better?
Vegan poop smells like buttered popcorn, not sure why.
Honey is natural
Bkah blah blah next
I sure don't understand why a vegan wouldn't be funny
