    How do I take the blades off? I tried it with a tube blade that I got today and it’s powerful. When I expected. I expected it to be like the typical fan of how it would run with four blades on it not much air but some powerful it works better when he has two blades were not in the way, so putting the blades on, this is powerful two blades. It will be more powerful blades. They were tight anyway now I wanna take the two I put off and have the original two on there and I started, but how do I take it off without breaking it my head trying to figure out in my head, pointing object and push the little things keep the blade in place down but how do I do it the easier way

    In the picture, it was spinning counterclockwise. I could tell from the blade pitch thgh

      If you are facing the bottom of the fan, it spins clockwise

    what kind of bulb does it take?

      It is the bulb. It does not use a separate bulb.

    I’ve heard that these fans spin in winter mode pulling air up and not blowing down. Can you confirm?
    There was a guy online who said that he disassembled his and flipped the blades. Is that possible in your opinion?

    • @dspiffy
      @dspiffy  Рік тому +1

      They spin in downdraft (summer) only. There is no reason to reverse them or flip the blades. Where did you see that?

      @@dspiffy I’ve seen multiple postings online that these work in winter mode, one guy even said that he had to disassemble his and flop the blades. Out of curiosity, I’ve posted and asked him to explain how he disassembled and reversed it. It makes no sense to me that it would be in winter mode.
      Thank you for the summer mode confirmation!

    It is useless because it only blows down hot air. Is there one that blows the opposite direction? No mention of this on the box.

    • @dspiffy
      @dspiffy  Місяць тому

      Down is the way you want it to blow. I did review a reversible version, but it seems pretty useless to me

    • @mach3833
      @mach3833 Місяць тому

      It moves to the right as in winter mode and blows down hot air. Summer mode moves to the left to cool a room. This is useless in Houston where it gets up to 100.

    Sorry, guy, it does unscrew by itself. I leave the fan running and it unscrews to the point where it stops.

    • @dspiffy
      @dspiffy  2 місяці тому +1

      Well first of all, that's not what people were asking about. They were worried about it unscrewing and falling.
      But either your socket is defective or you're not screwing it in properly. We have dozens of these installed around our work spaces and businesses and not one has unscrewed even a little.
