Lowe's has the same Socket Air Light as the one you got from Menards. Dollar General has a more basic, smaller version, which has two remote control versions depending on the store(either CR2025 battery like the Fan Light, or the AAA batteries like many remote control ceiling fans.)
I just ordered the Bell and Howell one in warm LED for 44 bucks. I'll be putting a porcelain socket in to replace my current bedroom light fixture. Will be handy in the coming summer months to have a fan.
the note about the lumens reminded me of the time where my friend thought that watts measured the light output of the bulb. i had to explain to him what lumens are, and how you cannot, in fact, find an accurate formula which you can apply to every lightbulb to convert watt draw (i think that is the right term) to lumen output.
Love this style of review! Thank you for this. I'm leaning towards the Bell & Howell. We have a small but open hallway with a bathroom on one end and my office (with mini split head) on the other, all in the same line of sight. Goal is to use the fan to circulate the cool air a little better from my office to the hallway/bathroom (and presumably the hotter air in cooler months, presuming I can reverse the direction of the fan) as the fan on the mini head is just okay. Do you think that would work for us? Also curious if you know about the longevity of the LED light? Thanks again!
Should be noted that while the extensions can be used for recessed sockets they can also be used to lower the light and or fan from the ceiling or the socket itself. While i wouldnt buy these for normal use, they could be handy using a backup battery with an inverter or a generator for power outages or even camping
@@dspiffy don’t get pissy because you suck at reviews. I’d be happy to point out that you know nothing about wind speed, wattage, or general electricity if you’d like.
The downfall Bell & Howelll, the fan sucks the air up into the ceiling, instead of shooting it down towards the person and there is no reverse switch. 🫤💯👎🏼

Let me know how you like it!!
I plan on getting the socket fan.

i like the emson one the most just bc it looks the most like an actual ceiling fan
Cool ceiling fan

If airflow is the primary use, then go with the Bell & Howell or one of the 6 blade flower fans!
I havent had one fail yet.

The Bell & Howell includes an extension
23:19 - Money shot!
Which one do you recommend which one is the most powerful
I cant recommend one specifically, it depends which features you need. The Bell & Howell is among the most powerful, so are the large 6 blade ones
Pullchain sockets hopefully can justify the last three. Thats the only practical way to control individual ones on a circuit I'd presume.
I doubt most people are going to have different models on the same switch
Thks very much for all this information
Which is best for a 14ft ceiling? I need air circulation but I also need useable light?
The Bell & Howell almost certainly
This review took entirely too long bud.
Then watch a shorter one better suited to your attention span.

I'll take a look at your channel to see if you have any better ones. Oh wait. Guess I win.
@@dspiffy ya you’re a real winner.

This is definitely not true
