    The red truck is a Mitsubishi Pajero. The Orlandoo vehicles work perfectly fine with the lower RPM brushed motors - great low speed control which is all you need. I would guess that they actually run better in brushed form than in brushless. The brushless electronics probably weigh 3 to 4 times as much as the stock electronics which is a ton for these little vehicles. The brushless motor and ESC are also way bigger which makes it a challenge to install in the chassis - especially the X01. I agree that they are challenging to build but anyone that has experience building 24 scale or smaller static models will have no issues building an Orlandoo Hunter vehicle. Just need good lighting, some patients and the right tools.

      Thanks for the info. I think most of what’s taking space is the battery. Brushless uses less battery for more power. I could / should probably swap the batteries to some tiny 120 mah batteries.

      @@TheShopMiniRC I believe the Orlandoo battery goes where Furitek put the esc. I have the 2 door Jeep and it’s very limited space and that’s where I put it.

    It baffles me sometimes how people don't understand that smaller doesn't mean cheaper. Smaller means not only more difficult to assemble in the factory like you said, but also more difficult to engineer and manufacture the electronics, and really just the whole thing in general.

    My MT Etna is coming next week! I like the wheels/tyres you put on the Etna. Which one are those? I am getting the same one. Thanks

      Unlikely. They do have the Orlando kits you can build. Check out Tiny 4x4 .com

    The reviews on the website were comical 😅 but still Kool rigs 😊

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  4 місяці тому

      Most of the bad reviews are people buying these things and basically running them as hard as a bigger rig. They are fragile.

    Good video, although furitek is making good money off their motor and esc. Can find same motors for fraction of cost, if not same very similar

    Oh i would love sth. smaller. But to be honest, reviews on the website don't sound good, stuff breaking after a few minutes and no spare parts available. Think i will stay with my trusty SCX24s.

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  4 місяці тому +1

      There are tons of spare parts. You can order everything for the Orlandoos from Tiny4x4.com
      People are leaving bad reviews because they think they can beat on them like a larger truck… you can’t.

    It's the electronics cost for me. Half the cost of the rig.
    My eyes would just be squintee trying to build and then my face would freeze like that😅

      It’s actually not as bad as it looks. I had the hardest time with the light kit. I bought the option as they say you have to weld yourself lol. It wasn’t easy at all but I learned so much.

    39:48 Would be better without music. I can't hear the motor sound. Can you please make a video for the nomad without using music? A video about the nomad like how slow it drives etc. Thanks.

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  4 місяці тому

      There is running footage without music where you can hear the motor. The nomad, trail raider and mt Etna all sound the exact same. They are the same electronics and drive train.

    Keep putting intros with run footage, non subscribed folks get feed that shows 10 seconds of a video. The red rig has to be a Mitsubishi montero or nissan pathfinder.
