It's understandable to feel a bit uneasy in volatile markets, especially with all the frenzy and worry going on. The US Stock Market's longest bull run in history can definitely add to the uncertainty. However, there are opportunities out there if you know where to look. Working with an investment advisor to diversify your portfolio seems to have paid off well, netting you over $260k in profits last year. That's impressive!

I started my 200k portfolio 2022 with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is up! and VUG is doing even better. This year, I've tried to add some more assets but unfortunately facing a decline.
imho, you should consider working with a seasoned advisor to help maintain a balanced growth portfolio, it wont cost you more than the mistakes you're making now
I’ve got a couple good ETFs in my portfolio and I’m up 47%. I’m also well positioned with good blue chip companies and A.I stocks. I will buy $200K worth of Plantir soon. Some experts say it's the next Nvidia. Hoping to retire comfortably in 5 years with at least $ 2m.
I prefer to invest in large cap companies which have economic moats, good cash flow and strong balance sheets such as AAPL, SCHD, NVDA and Barclays. Seeking expertise assistance can make a huge difference
Agreed, instead of following rumors or a hearsay, I adopted the service of an advisor early 2020 amid covid-outbreak, and after subsequent investments to date, I've attained my most significant financial milestone, just about 10% shy of $1m.

I appreciate this. After curiously searching her name online and reviewing her credentials, I'm quite impressed. I've contacted her as I could use all the help I can get. A call has been scheduled.
My life changed too when I started doing this and putting money in stocks. The first few years it as really great, but this year I haven't felt like my portfolio is doing well. I have lost more than $40,000 from my portfolio the past four months, and it's now very worrisome.
The year has been really rough for everybody. But I've been able to cushion the effect though. Have you thought of using an investment advisor? They can make you good money especially during uncertain times like this.
Yes, I agree. I use a financial advisor too. Same person since 2020. I don't worry about whether the economy is going up or down or sideways. I always ride through.

My portfolio doesn’t just cater to dividend stocks. I hold $VFIAX (S&P 500 index fund) in my Roth IRA and $VTI (Total Stock Market ETF) in my taxable brokerage account. Two of my largest holdings. The individual dividend stock positions all complement the index holdings.

I took charge of my portfolio but faced losses in 2022. Realizing the need for a change, I sought advice from a fiduciary advisor. Through restructuring and diversification with dividend stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds, and REITs, my $1.2M portfolio surged, yielding an annualized gain of 28%.

You are both right. If you have 1 share at ~$84 OR have 3 shares at $28 (3x28=84), both will result in a dividend total of 75 cents (1x75 or 3x25 cents).
It really just makes it more affordable per share. An ETF is valued by its underlying holdings, so not the same as an individual stock that might see a big boost in value after a split.
Splits are mostly psychological acts meant to excite investors. Just read the comments. Some of these people think they can now buy more and some probably think they can get more dividends when in actuality they can buy now or after the split and it’s the same exact value because of fractional shares. As such, it’ll attract those that are easily manipulated and they’ll buy more thinking they’re somehow getting a bargain. That makes it bullish-more people buy in.
Smart - splitting the stock before a market crash to lower the price while tripling everyone's shares will draw billions of new dollars, while keeping share holders, making Schd a go to ETF as everyone jumps from growth Stocks and ETF's. Stability, and value 🎉 Though you do want to have $$ to jump when the share prices drop on everything else too.

It is a bullish move because management believes this ETF has room to grow so splitting the shares will allow it to grow even more by allowing investors with less cash to participate.
