I grew up on skates basically (that Dutch stereotype is true in my case lmao). While I have always done long distance skating I ALWAYS ALWAYS loved to watch figure skating. I think I first saw Tessa and Scott in the 2010 Olympics but I really got obsessed with them in 2014. It's been so much fun sharing this obsession with half the twitter verse this year lmao. Their Moulin Rouge routine is gonna be my favourite for the rest of my life probably. They deserved that win and I'm so happy they got it.

I kinda forgot this song existed but I always had it in the back of my mind if I was ever gonna make a dancing-type video and what better way to use it than for these two. Whatever they are (platonic or not), their relationship is absolutely beautiful.

Ellice oh god same! I want to respect the fact that they've stated so many times that they're just friends but I just can't see how two people with so much chemistry and so much history are not romantically involved. The way they look at each other gives me chills!

I am not even Canadian but I am literally crying right now :( If there is one reason why I want to become a Canadian even just for a day is because of these two legends. TESSA and SCOTT - the greatest ice dance team OF ALL TIME.
I really don't want to say goodbye to them on competitive ice. It is so difficult to comprehend for now :( Why can't they compete for more? Weaver Poje and the Italian ice dance teams are older than them but these two teams are not retiring yet... Maybe because Virtue-Moir has already achieved the pinnacle of their career or even way beyond that.

My word I will be watching this a thousand times. They are the epitome of greatness and I'm so proud to have cheered them on since 2010. May they never lose that spark between each other. Even if they aren't involved (hoping it changes), they are still soulmates in every sense of the word. They literally grew up together, like they've said they know each other better than they know themselves. Ugh my hearttttt.

Thank you for creating a montage of heart-felt visual moments and verbal declarations captured with the best song presenting what the spectators see every time Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir ice dance. Beautiful!!! During this isolation time of COVID-19, I was introduced to this couple. I have viewed 100s of video hours on UA-cam, researched the internet to discover their retirement from the sport and their parting of career paths and I am still baffled that an engagement or marriage between them didn’t take place. I’ve posted in other videos and noted my humble observation. During their skating partnership, their ambition was identical or very similar. But when retirement was declared, their ambitions became different and visible in their comments. The arduous practice schedule of competitive ice skating consumed all their time-and their bodies are no longer 20 & 22 years old. So, I get their desire for change. I accept that. And I support their decision. I was also told in a comment that they remain close friends, who might still get together for coffee...but Scott’s engagement, Tessa going for her MBA and leaving ice skating completely out of her life, IMO let me see their different ambitions hurt each other and ended the connection...like a person cheating on their partner. For us, we interpret betrayal and it is a tragedy. I’ve read some commentators say there is sadness in their faces now (August, 2020). May they find happiness in their personal endeavors. Maybe fate and Cupid will have them create beauty together just the two of them, on the ice...with this song... someday. I am the eternal optimist!!! 😉

I want to cry of both happiness at their success and sadness at their retirement. I'm not even Canadian and I've been enraptured by their magic on the ice since their first Olympics. I can't stop going back to watch all of their programs to relive that magic. Bless whoever curated and made this masterpiece of a video. ❤

There's a story of Tessa recovering from an operation or pre operation , and she was having an awful time! Fears of being able to do it after ,and some one rang her doorbell! left a bucket of ice on the door steps of her house ,with a note saying ...(I'm phararasing!) he knows it's hard but they'll get over it one bucket at a time,.something like that!.he didn't sign it! but she knows it from him!!❤ can't remember which interview tho!?
