Based from what I read, I think the reason for Tessa and Scott not being together is pride. What they do with their lives is up to them. Although we, their fans are hurt we can't do anyhing but accept it. I just hope that Scott will never regret the decision made by him. Pride is the worst enemy. I wish them happiness and more success in their lives.Sad but I have to accept that my dream of them becoming a couple will not be realized. Any body can see that he for sure loves her. I think since he is all she had known since she was seven y/o she doesn't feel like she has had a chance to see or explore something new. When I learned that Scott is engaged or probably married by now I was just in denial. He should not marry some one just because he thinks he can't have Tessa. It's just all too sad and messed up.
I think they used the ice to ultimately show their love to each as it was they figured nobody would notice and I believe they both really did love each other but didn't want it to mess up their competitions. I thought he first got engaged before she got the boyfriend, and I felt I could see she loved him. 😭❤️

Good question? No one really knows. In 2018 after the Olympic Games they were together but something happened in the summer of 2018 around June they had a some sort of argument over S. I was tole T found out he cheated on her and I suppose that is when the separation happened. T went to Europe with her parents and S went to Florida to visit his now fiancee Jackie. Apparently J's grandmother passed away sometime around May or June and she was in Ilderton Scott's hometown to the funeral because her grandmother lived there and S'c cousin Cara who he is very close with reunited them at the funeral and that was when it all happened. When S returned from Florida sometime around February 2019 he and T did several interviews and they did the Thank You Canada Tour then decided to co-direct the RtR Tour that started in October of 2019. It was at the WOF Ceremony in Ilderton S's home town that S announced his engagement and had his fiancee there at the ceremony sitting on the front row. What was so bad was he took away from T's special day that was suppose to be about her and S only. This was horrible of him. Then after the ceremony during an interview T told the interviewer that she did not know S was even engaged she had to call S and congratulate him. Can you imagine her skating partner of 22 years did not even tell her he was engaged. Someone saw it on fb and called T and told her and then sh called S to congratulate him. Can you imagine how hurt she must be. During the interview T looked so sad like she was sick at her stomach it is just horrible what he has done to T. He threw her under the bus so cold. Since then T has move on she is modeling, doing photo shoots, traveling and will be going to university this Fall to complete her Business Associate Degree. S's wedding is scheduled for July but no date has been set as yet. Yep fans are devastated they cannot believe that he has done this. We all thought he loved her because they had such great chemistry on the ice they always said how much they love each other and how they could not imagine the rest of their life without each other in it. So what happened? What went wrong? This fiancee is a rival of T. This fiancee skated with S for a couple of months at the Skate Club where T, S and J were all there training then T came to the club and S's aunt who was their Skate trainer paired S and T up to be partners in pairs skating . Jackie was furious she never forgot it and never forgave S for doing it. I am sure J is putting it in T's face now. S knows they are rivals so why do this to T why go to this woman why not another woman who has not history with T? Very, very strange. Very sad he threw T under the bus for sure.
@@josiepens4480 I wish I had all the answers why these two have not ended this together they totally love each other always have always will she wanted to stop skating go into the corporate world he wanted to stay on the ice and coach they have chosen two different profession after their skating was done and could not seem to find a happy medium and make it both work. S says he wants to get T to coach with him and will keep trying however he royally screwed up when he got engaged and now has a baby daughter with this fiancee and he burned every bridge he ever had back to Tess Virtue he ended it all simple as that.

I'm an avid T&S fan but the comments are getting ridiculous! It's July 2021. Scott is probably married by now. I've given up on them. I just lament that they chose not to skate together again. They still could, even not for competition, while leading separate lives. A lot of skaters in their shoes did in the past., so why can't they? It's such a shame depriving the world of their magic on ice. I want to see them do new programs, more risqué - anyway we all know the real score between them. No more pretense. Just plain and simple fake love. And am sure they'll enjoy it. So would we.
