Currently in Samford Valley scout camp,the bride has specialist appointments for her knee,looks like a replacement 😢😢. We will be heading back down south for summer and will probably end up around Nug Nug via Wellington for a grandkids fix . Hi guys having used this tv for the past 8 months or so on the road full time, my 2c - it’s a pretty good 12v tv, in saying that as a caravan tv there is a couple things that englaon may need to look at it’s only small issues but annoying,. 1 the blue standby light is bright. And you can’t turn it off in the settings. Why would you need to? The tv normally sits on the cupboard close to the people who gets shed in ambient light from the tv while turned off. Again small thing but annoying. And you can’t put tape on it as it blocks remote sensor. 2 when tv boots up the splash screen is bright white and very much in your face again the tv is close to the people in bed at night. I asked tech support about this and they said it’s just the nature of the screen electronics and can’t be changed however the word englaon is displayed at the same time. So therefor a firmware upgrade could change that screen to black with white or red text maybe. I love the android side of things on the x70 as the x90 does NOT have android so you can’t use android apps wit( it as in the x90. So just make sure you order the right tv. We deleted our antenna for more solar and use the android app M3UIPTV (our web page tindog travels has full setup instructions for this app to make it a 9/10 download as the app is getting updated in the near future the developer was saying) it’s NOT a plug for our web site it’s a tool to help you setup the settings and get the most outs of m3uiptv without a tv antenna and 100% reception quality anywhere you can use Starlink. and it’s works fantastic, we use Starlink to watch all tv, we love the tv but it does have a cpl “first world” quirks other then that it’s highly rated wit( minimal lag and bright colourful display Buy this tv it’s a great unit. @TindogTravels cheers Peter. Mate we just unplug the bottom of the tv when going to sleep. No blue light. We have a sat dish and run foxtell box as i watch pay perview boxing and all NRL GAMES. Just waiting on our new 32in to be sent out this month and I'll see if there is a change. We are loving the new model. Thanks for the info and support. Safe travels may see you on the road. 🍻
@ no worries. Wee thinking about going 32 as well but the 24 fits nice so there is that. But totally agree they are a good tv. I see. The guys at the Melb caravan show back in Jan this year they had a display there. Keep safe.
@tritonjackmam5.681 Nothing mate. The caravan tv can run on both 12v and 240v. Some caravan's do not have inverters so require 12v. 12v is all so less taxing on batteries 🍻
