Not sure if you'd be interested, but Handbag Haven makes hardware protector stickers for this bag which I purchased and put on mine before starting to use...they've held up fairly well but is starting to peel off on one edge. I was able to snag mine online. Loving it so far! Congrats!💕
Thank you for sharing! 🥰 i loved the PM when i first venture to louisvuitton but unfortunately it was always out of stock. i couldnt wait for it so i search for other bag and decided to get the Clapton Pm in raisin. almost comparable with the PM minus the top handle of PM and clapton has a leather flap and strap. it's my first luxury bag and a gift from my hubby. ☺️

Love my Pouchette Métis. I’m going to mimic the way you store yours. It’s my only luxury piece at this time but it’s timeless. I’m so pleased with it.

I wish they made the inside microfiber with different colors such as pink etc to match the strap color instead of brown. I think it would look so pretty.

I finally got a hold of this last December from Rodeo Drive. I bought the Reverse. I was torn between the mono and reverse. I ended up with the Reverse as I’ve got few monogram collection- but after watching your video.. I wished I got the monogram instead. But my reverse stands out too 😂😱😂 oh my!

I got lucky and was able to order mine online about 3 weeks ago and to my surprise, after inspecting every nook, it was perfect condition! It was made in France March of this year so I do think they upped their quality😊

I have the empreinte noir and always keep airpaper inside😁 and take the strape off as well. i want my bags to last many years!!
Interesting , I have the reverse but I’d defy buy empriente or mono just because it’s an absolutely AMAZING handbag. Always going to be a classic, I use my reverse so much X great video

Nice vid! How long have you had the bag? Because some had their bag for more than a year and their vachetta leather hasn’t darken like yours has.
I finally got mine but there’s like a circular mark on the vachetta and I was unluckily assigned an SA who didn’t know about the glazing issues for previous PMs…. Idk if I should exchange for a new one or just use it… 😞
Hi, I am not sure if anybody has said this already but there are hardware protectors for the pochette metis (and other bags). I do not know if they work though.
Do you have a video on how to apply the apple guard spay?
Do both of the knobs for the lock move to release the lock? Or does only one side move?

I have this as well. It was replaced by LV free of charge last April due to glazing issues. My original was from 2016. The replacement was 2019 and it is so much much better. My original was very stiff especially the strap. I sprayed mine with applegard as well and I have no water marks at all. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful I bought the reverse 1 yr ago... I love it! The only thing is the back zipper hardware the gold is fading a little. LV said they will fix it but I am just going to wait till it get worse.

I'm looking for my first luxury handbag, and I like them all, but would like not a trendy but a classic one, so it won't go off style in couple of years)) But which one would you recommend? You have such a great taste. I'm also a mom of 1st grader, do not go to work, and live not far from you, on Long Island. I'd like a crossbody and a versatile one, preferably with handle as it adds one more point to different styles that I can wear it, that I can carry both casually for a everyday walkings with a kid and also for going to dinners or city when we have a chance to.)) I was thinking about Chanel WOC or this one or LV Croisette or YSL or Chanel Medium (I love it but this one I'm not sure if I can pull this off on a playground))... Hi! For what you describe, I highly recommend the YSL toy loulou!!! It's such a great bag. It's lightweight, has nice compartments and it can be worn crossbody, on the shoulder or even as a clutch. You can fit all your daily essentials for running around with your kiddo, and you can easily dress it up too. Great video! Does it help to keep the plastic sticker on the lock and prevent or minimize scratches?
Yes if you want to leave the stickers on, that could protect the hardware from scratches but I tend to remove the stickers right away bc I love to see the “naked” polish of the hardware. Also just be careful as stickers that are kept on for too long can cause oxidation of the hardware.
Thanks!! That’s what i was wondering. I remember seeing a video where they said to remove immediately upon purchase but I’ve not heard anyone else mention it so I wanted to be sure. I just bought a new pochette metis in empreinte leather and plan to use it today for the first time 😊

Hi! Question about the plastic ball on the closure. Is that an extra that you added or does the bag come with it? I have two croisettes and they don’t have it, but would love if they did.

I just received my PM - online order. I live in Canada. It was sent from the US to me straight from the warehouse. Aaaand my Bag is made in Italy. I feel content with that, did not want one from the US. Wondering what you’ve heard about the LV products made in Italy and how you feel about them? I’ve inspected the bag and it looks great! Now we don’t have Apple guard here in Canada so if you can recommend alternatives would really appreciate it because I will be protecting my bag :). I also think my bag is the micro chip one because I can’t find the date code
Aw yay! Congrats! I don’t own any Made in Italy LV pieces but I would think the quality is good considering Italy is generally known for its craftsmanship. I don’t know of any Apple Garde alternatives but maybe others here can chime in!
I live in Canada and found an alternative to Apple guard the brand is Collonil and it’s called Carbon Pro. Works the exact same watched a few comparison videos. Also already tried it and it’s great! 👌🏽 However you can only purchase it on amazon.

Aww that’s sweet. The current price is listed on the LV website - it has gone up since I bought mine. It’s usually more expensive on the resale market so if you can find one in the boutique, you’d be better off. Good luck!

It is available right now in March 2020 online. I believe LV release most of their popular bag once or twice a year and limited stock. Btw, the price increase every year so buy it now before it goes up.

My metis has a really bad odour and i use it occasionally. Do u have the same problem? I bought it last year.
Oh nooo! 🤦🏻♀️ Mine has no odor except the usual canvas scent which is barely detectable. I’ve had LV pieces that had really bad chemical odor which I returned right away. Hopefully it’s not like that! Maybe try airing it out!

Vachetta is so fragile. The first time I wore my pochette Métis, it fell over face down and the leather above the front clasp now has a small scratch. I wanted to cry. No matter how you pamper them disaster strikes.
