I think there is no restriction as such, you can carry forward your position, you just need to have sufficient funds as margin requirements increase for Short positions during the last two days of expiry week.

Zerodha me intraday main zyada nhi hai bhai brokerage baki jagah aur bhi jyada hai aur jahan kam charges claim karte hai wahan doosre issues aajate hain jaise tech glitches usse bhot nuksaan hota hai groww me bhi problem aati hai. Aur delivery me toh zero charge hai hi
Currently, I use Zerodha, but it doesn't allow buying far OTM options unless you have a short position in the same option, so you need to short first and then buy and that requires you to maintain more than double the margin actually required. Is it worth switching to some other broker to avoid the same and if yes, which broker would you suggest? Ps - switching to orbis (clearing member) is an option in zerodha, but it doesn't allow you to pledge securities for margin. Thanks in advance.
Every broker has got limit by SEBI that they can allow open interest to be added upto certain limit only. Limit for same is 15 % only. Open Interest limit of 15 % get quickly filled as there are many traders in Zerodha, due to which Zerodha is not allowing deep OTM options buying or selling. Can't say about other brokers I also use Zerodha for this.
