I'm doing no contact not because I want to get her to see me as more than a friend, but because there's no chance of anything happening and I need to cut off all contact and focus on women that like me. From a woman’s perspective, no contact works every time. No matter who dumped who. I recently did it unintentionally to move on and heal but it was NOT to try to get him back first. My attraction for him didn’t change at all. Usually attraction is never the root issue for the breakup. However, If you want to get an ex back, you have to understand why you two broke up, consciously work on starting a NEW relationship (because the last one was a flop) with each other, so you don’t breakup again. If that’s not the goal, use no contact to move on and find someone new and don’t care if she comes back or not.

So true. I'm on day 58 and I'm really feeling better about myself and not thinking about my ex anymore in a painful way. We were together 4 years and she left me for our neighbor and moved in with him after 2 months. That'll probably crash and burn because she didn't take time for herself and self reflect. I've had time to heal and self reflect and I feel great being single and it's fun to have these other women flirt and have fun with me. I'm also getting so good at no contact that I'm using it on a friend of 3 years because there's a lot of games she's playing and I'm not going to be the backup QB option for her. It truly demonstrates the character of the person and how thankful we should be that it happened prior to marriage or children. My advice would be to stop counting the days and to stay off these videos if they become a habit for you. I’m in month 4 and I still long for her at times, but I’m much better off now

It USUALLY makes the other person comes back but that's not REALLY the point of it - the point of it is for your OWN mental healthy and happiness. During this quarantine and prolonged self isolation, I was cheated on, long distance. Been doing no contact for a week. It’s been challenging. The memory hasn’t faded... it’s difficult to keep the NCR during this quarantine, with so much government restrictions. No gym, most friends not willing to go out on walks, not being able to work on myself outside of the home.... Doing no contact is same as doing no fap journey.. You have to get rid of the addiction. It is hard but its worth.
