I have *rarely* picked up smut but I've really been wanting to expand into it because it's just so fun and easy to read, and I feel like it's the perfect way to unwind! I need to invest in some smut and join this readathon haha

There's too much YA, but it's not like ya is bad, but it's like the HUGE majority in booktube. I'm so happy to have found your channel! I've got my own channel and I primarily read adult romance. Girl I'm with you there, I'm not ready for the Killers series to end! There are too many questions I have that I don't think we'll get the answers too. Book 3 screwed with my head so much, I was even questioning what I was feeling while I was reading it.
I just bought Josh & Hazel so I'll have to save it for this! Also, I'm almost done reading The Kiss Quotient and it's so steamy, but also like so sweet I don't want it to end.

From Lukov, with love by Marianna Zapata is great for enemies to lovers or slow burn romance (because it is a truly slow burn one). It's not bad!

Oh my gosh so many recs! I have never really dabbled into the romance/smut genres but I'm so interested! I think a while back I read The Best Man by Kristin Higgins but it was more romance than smut. I used to adore it but I don't know if it would stand up today! I neeeeed to read The Hating Game and The Kiss Quotient.

If you love the hating game try to read the book of vi keeland "we shouldnt" and r.s grey "Arrogant devil", "hotshot doc", "anything you can do"
And if you love the kiss quotient there's also another book of the same author "The bride test". It also follows the story of kiss quotient.

Another romance readathon yea! I'm not really into them but it's great to see some full on romance reads and tropes on the agenda again :).
I vote for the one night stand trope one because I had two series relationships come out of a ONS (!) and also because there is nothing wrong with some hot casual (protected!) sex between consenting adults when it's been a while since you had some!
Really like your recs, some I've read and some are on my TBR. I totally agree with you in your gushing about Transcendence, the ending kinda just came out of nowhere on that one!, and you have me thinking about some regency with those Tessa Dare's you mentioned, and I normally steer clear of historicals! TFS :-)
Before I read Tessa Dare I didn't really like historical romance but she sold me on it

I don't know if you'll read this but I'm at the point where you said that Say Yes to the Marquess is your favourite Tessa Dare book. If you're interested in a different interpretation of the same main theme then please please please check out Notorious Pleasures by Elizabeth Hoyt. It's part of the Maiden Lane series but works well as a stand alone. I'll be interested to know of what you think of the book with a similar premise (heroine with fiance's brother) as well as Hoyt's writing which is often described as atmospheric. 💜💜💜

Anyone looking for an amazing rec: if you're on netgalley theres this book called Moonlight & Whiskey and it was INCREDIBLE. Plus size heroine, rockstar romance (with tattoos), amazing female friendships. I highly recommend 👌

I don't know why nobody ever recommends kennedy Ryan's book. Honestly, her books are to die for.
For instance grip series is my favourite!!!! The hoop series is also pretty fantastic and yet nada here. Really people you need to start reading the book. Though I have to warn you, you night experience series book hangover hence the need for a support group for all the book.😁😁
The Island... it does feel a little questionable, but as long as the student is 18, before the romantic relationship starts, I’m honestly intrigued by it. The setup takes them out of the student teacher context, so that makes the power dynamic more equal. I think it does, anyway
oh yeah once they are on the island they drop the student/teacher dynamic so there really is no power imbalance
Read the Druid series that is a prequel of sorts to the Feaver series that is by KMM.

I don’t know if any of you know the selection series by Keira cass but that’s the type of romance book I want. Not to much of smutty stuff. I’m way too young but honestly I’m pretty mature so I can handle it. But I want a romance book that has drama, a book that leaves you wanting to read more. Anyone have any recommendations? A lot of the you tubers I watch are mostly adult romance books...
