You are quite the explorer mate. Public transport is heavily subsidised making it quite cheap . You should visit again to test the new high speed transport link connecting other local islands and atolls .
I thought it must be heavily subsidised. I couldn't even work out the amounts in my head because they were so small! It's good that money is going into things that are useful for the locals! It's a Muslim country so there's not really bars / nightlife but it is very lively at night like restaurants, markets etc. It's definitely worth a visit. Thanks for watching 👍
Omg ive just arrived at Hulhumale 2 hours ago and i was told there is no buses to the airport. Please can you tell me what number bus to catch? I'm leaving tomorrow
I'm not sure on the bus to the airport as I only got it from the airport but there definitely are some... a local should know. I got a taxi to get to the airport from the centre of hulhumale and it was pretty cheap (they use a meter, any hotel/ guesthouse will get a taxi for you). Thanks for watching 👍
I was just trying to get around on foot to see more of the place. The bridge does make things faster but I definitely saw a lot more by walking & taking the boats. It's a really nice place! Thanks for watching 👍
