    As Gale Banks says, *Paraphrase* If you're rolling coal shit aint right

    • @MakeAnything-
      @MakeAnything- 2 місяці тому +1

      Thats actually not true. "coal" as its commonly referred to is heat. Getting the turbos to light the fastest requires heat. It should smooth out as the heat and cyl pressure rises.

    • @BiggHoss
      @BiggHoss 2 місяці тому +1

      @@MakeAnything- I really hope no one has ever let you tune their truck. "coal" black smoke, whatever, is unburnt fuel. If you see black smoke it means your air to fuel ratio is fucked, much like your little statement there. Bumping up the fuel causing black smoke will raise your EGTs, which damage your engine. High EGTs will damage your cylinder head, overheat your pistons scoring and warping them. It will overheat your turbo, not only that, it will reduce your engine power.
      "Under sustained excessive EGT, the square corners at the outer ends of the vanes, where the material is thinnest on the turbine wheel, can become incandescent and then melt, resulting in a rounding off of the square corners."
      "In extreme cases, high EGT can drive the turbocharger into an overspeed condition that exceeds the designed operating speed due to the additional heat energy. When this happens, either the turbine wheel or the compressor wheel may burst. If the turbo doesn’t go first, excessive EGT, if sustained, will damage the pistons. Such damage can include piston deformation, melting, burning, holes, cracking, etc. This damage is cumulative, so if you slightly burn a piston top, the engine may continue to run without problems, but the next time you run excessive EGT more damage may be done, and so on, until failure occurs."
      You know nothing about turbos. I have no idea what you think "light" means but turbos work on boost pressure, a hotter turbocharger can generate more boost pressure, but that doesn't mean more power. The air density and temperature play a crucial role in determining the actual power output. Cooler air will compress with less effort than hotter, thinner air. Hotter air means less density, which means less oxygen going into the engine. This can result in less power, even with increased boost pressure.
      Just please stay away from Diesel motors.

      @@BiggHoss "Burping" lol you know nothing about tuning. I have tuned many pros. All you have to do is go to a tractor pull and see exactly what I am saying. You arent worth the response

    • @BiggHoss
      @BiggHoss 2 місяці тому

      @@MakeAnything- You tune for the jackoff that that blows his motor every year racing, I do go to tractor pulls, almost every time someone's motor blows, those must be the pros you were talking about. I tune my motor that will last 400k+ miles driving on the road doing what a truck was meant to do. I will give you credit. You are in the repeat customer business.
