I’ve been recently using my dad’s 90’s camcorder to film clips of my summer 2021. I’ve been able to gather some footage on this vintage video camera and just wanted to make a little vlog with it! It’s pretty great since I don’t have to use those “90s vintage camera effects”, “vhs effect” or “super 8 film effect”.
If you’re wondering, I am filming on a Samsung SCW73 model which is a Hi8 camcorder. The tape is 8mm MP120 (I have no idea if I’m writing this properly lol). Hope this is a sign for you to buy that 90’s camcorder for sale on facebook marketplace! Having this and a disposable film camera would really complete this summer :p

Wow this footage brings me back to 3rd - 4th grade where I would watch full house and TGIF every Friday night. My uncle used to record us playing around in the house dancing to songs and playing games and it looked like this... ☺️✨

I have a 1996 Panasonic Palmsight Camcorder that I recently bought and have been using as a vlogging cam and its so great. I also got a professional grade Panasonic Full Size VHS Camcorder from 1986 its really heavy but so cool im currently fixing that up and also film with.

You need to turn the exposure down then video Qaulity will be much better and you opened those potato chips wrongly, open them up by pulling from both sides and you can reach in from the top.

That’s part of the charm. Wrong settings is way more authentic.
I think she is using the art effect on the camera, whcih is why it looks that way.

Haha! My computer currently isn't working so I can't edit any videos this summer:( But will definitely have more once it's done being fixed lol
@@karenchan5872 You can get a used mobile capture device off auction websites for real cheap. Just plug it in, hit record, then transfer it with a SD card reader for your phone. You’ll be editing tons of video and making short clips for social media in no time. You don’t need anything special just a basic recorder with the old yellow and red input is enough for these old camcorders.
