Hope we get to hear you interview some long term residents as well as some recent arrivals to learn different perspectives on manufactured home living. It would also be good to hear from some community managers as to their take on dealing with the inflated costs that are driving up lot rents. I recently looked at a manufactured home in a part in Florida. The price was right and the condition was very good. However, when I looked at at the monthly rent, it was over one thousand a month!! I have never had a mortgage that high. So if I ever decide to stay the winter in FL, I will rent an Airbnb. I can afford that and I only pay for what I need. Not be saddled with a high rent fee for 12 months. And then have to worry about damage or destruction due a hurricane.
NP , we each have our goals and ideas on what is worth our hard-earned assets. There is no question this does not meet everyone's needs. The idea is to present enough information that you can know the alternatives and make an informed decision. Glad we can help you in that regard.

I purchased the land! told I couldn't use the land for down payment !!could have a 30-yr mortgage because of my age had to go with a 23 year that with 44, 000cash to the manufactured!!
I'm sorry but I don't know any real-estate attorneys. Best I can offer is to Google it and use "Real Estate Attorney Near-by" as a prompt. Sorry to hear of your difficulties.

The winters here aren't nearly as bad as they used to be.
The summers here aren't nearly as bad as folks up north make out 😆
