The photo on the mobile was of "Sardar Vallabhai Patel". He's called the 'Iron Man of India' for his ability to take difficult and bold decisions. He's the major reason for the unification of India which was divided into 550+ Princely States.
PS : The world's biggest statue 'The Statue of Unity' depicting Sardar Patel was made in Gujarat to honour his contribution in unifying India.

That's not his dad.. He is the IRON MAN of India... Sardar Patel... He supposed to be the first Prime Minister of India after Independence.. but inner politics changed it.. but he is called as Iron man of India.. because he united the princely states of India and make a whole Indian Country.

@Aarnik Narayan It was a right decision by Gandhiji the young country needed a young prime minister and Sardar Patel died before the first elections proving his decision not to mention that Sardar Patel being the home minister at that moment was quintessential as unification was most important then

@Aarnik Narayan Sir with due respect I've utmost respect to our heroes but j and k was very controversial that even if Mr.Patel was there he had gone for the same option .Study about instrument of accession in detail .....Post Independence by Bipin Chandra. You will get full insight what was the issue.

In end the Pradhan wife or say the real Pradhan was cooking puri for her husband. She was happy for the decision and thus kept 2 puri even when her husband asked for 1. Just subtle way of real life couple depiction.

The vegetable you guys keep asking about, its opo squash, also called calabash gourd or bottle gourd. Its a very common vegetable throughout India, and it's a running gag throughout the show.

Actually it's shot in a village named Mahodiya, Sehore district in Madhya Pradesh but the Village name 'Phulera' is taken from the state of Rajasthan and district name is taken from Uttar Pradesh which is another state because the rural setup is based on that latter state.
    Enjoying the Reactions ✌️

It could be shot anywhere, Goa, Portugal or Mars, but the story is based in Eastern U.P.
N this is what the guy at left on checking when he said as per his search, Fulera is in Rajasthan.
      Toh just correcting that

We try man, we try. I was referring to big Prahlad as Mangal, thinking the former was a title, for a wee bit. But if the characters are well realised and you connect with them, then its difficult not to remember their names.

Yeah, we've reacted to a fair few already. Mirzapur, The Family Man, Paatal Lok, Sacred Games, Made in Heaven, Farzi and we reviewed Scam 1992 a few years back too. The content coming out of India is massively underrated in the west. There's some top drawer actors, writers, directors and technical work being done in these shows, which for me, is every bit as good as the great k-dramas coming out of South Korea.
I don't know if its ignorance or what, but they're not getting the same traction as those shows on the big streaming services.
