@@christiankove7 Why do you think the story of the Bible is real? We have fossil records, and proof of evolution. This planet's existence goes back billions of years. Man wasn't created 8,000 years ago from clay like the Bible falsely claims. The Bible was created by evil individuals, and it tells the biggest lie ever created. That lie being; that by doing nothing in the face of evil, and inequity, you'll receive eternal paradise. A religion made by a bunch of old men sitting in a cave from 2,000 years ago doesn't have any answers for our state of being. Many people have experienced death, and have been miraculously revived, thanks to our advancements in technology, and modern medicine. They all claim that there was nothing on the other side, and that once you die, it's naught but black nothingness. Why is it so hard to believe that this is the truth, when it's the most scientifically explainable route for what happens to us when we die? Don't waste any of your time on religion, like I once did. I could've had a lot of fun in my teen years, and I could've experienced many new things, but I didn't. I was raised in a poor, religious household. My parents had a very rough relationship, and would often fight each other every night. I wasn't able to go to college due to my poor financial circumstances, so I had to join the military. I went from one dark period in my life, to another. I had to fight in the Korean war, and it was there that I lost my faith. After I had completed by service in the armed forces, I was taught a trade, and became a welder. I spent the next 30 years of my life fulfilling contracts, and I never found love, due to my financial circumstances. I always had to work, and whenever I did work, it was always in male-orientated jobs. I'm not going to come on here and assume that your life is so great, but usually being able to believe in some sort of higher power comes from a position of privilege.

When I was a Christian, I thought it was weird how God’s alternative to Heaven was a place made for endless torture for disbelief. As opposed to creating a place like Limbo where there’s no God or paradise but no torture either; more or less a void. Nope either me or torture.

Why shouldn’t I or any Christian feel the same way about the afterlife; bc God says it is and nothing more than that? Hence why I ask why not place non wicked nonbelievers that has no paradise but no torture. After all, I’m pretty sure it’s said in the Bible that individuals who’ve lived but not heard of God are judged on their morality; what makes a nonbeliever any different?

In Leviticus 25:45, this verse refers to ancient Israelite practices regarding servants. Genesis 17:10 speaks of circumcision as a sign of God’s covenant with Abraham, symbolizing belonging to God’s people. It’s not a command for harm but a spiritual symbol, later transformed into a broader inclusion through faith rather than ritual (Romans 2:28-29).
Numbers 31:17-18 is part of a historical narrative of warfare. While it can seem harsh to us today, it reflects the brutal realities of ancient conflicts. The Old Testament is full of stories showing the consequences of human actions, not necessarily prescriptions for future behavior. Jesus later teaches love and peace, fulfilling the law and calling us to a higher moral standard (Matthew 5:38-39).
In Ephesians 6:5-8, Paul addresses the social reality of slavery at the time, but he emphasizes serving others as though serving Christ, transforming the relationship between master and servant. Paul also encouraged the freeing of slaves (Philemon 1:16) and taught that all are equal in Christ (Galatians 3:28).
Isaiah 60:16 is a prophetic vision of Israel’s future restoration. The ‘milk of nations’ is symbolic language for receiving blessings and honor, not oppression. Many prophecies in Isaiah are poetic and use metaphors to convey hope and God’s ultimate plan for peace.
Psalms 137:9 is an expression of deep pain during Israel’s exile in Babylon. It’s a lament, not a command. The intense emotions reflect the grief of a people who have lost their homeland. Ezekiel 23:20 uses metaphorical language to describe Israel’s unfaithfulness to God, depicted as adultery. Ezekiel often used graphic language to shock Israel into repentance. The Bible uses such imagery to illustrate how deeply God desires faithfulness, but it’s not endorsing sinful behavior.
In 1 Corinthians 14:34, Paul’s instruction to women must be understood in the cultural context of Corinth at the time. It was about maintaining order in worship services, but the New Testament also makes clear that women played key roles in the early church, such as Priscilla (Acts 18) and Phoebe (Romans 16).
Many of these verses are cultural references from ancient times or specific instances of grief, lament, and prophecy. The Bible’s central message, particularly as fulfilled in Jesus, is one of love, mercy, justice, and redemption, not promoting harm or oppression.
These are actual questions and not just hating on christianity: What about the people in Papua Neuguinea or whatever that have never even heard of Jesus? And what about the ones who die when they're born or just insanely early? What are they supposed to do?

I wouldn't want you to go to hell even though you believe for some insane reason that I should. Nobody deserves hell, not you, not me. I wouldn't wish torture on anyone at all, I wouldn't wish death on anyone at all, instead of following some barbaric and ancient book about morals (like my favorite bible story Elisha and the two bears) instead I try to become the best version of myself. So its really hurtful to see other people thinking that I deserve to burn for all of eternity just because I didn't 'Think the right thought' at some point in my life. Even though other Christians think that hell is justice, at least they try to save people from it. You on the other hand are trying to say 'don't save people from eternal hellfire'. That's so messed up dude. For me and the 70% of other human beings on this earth, even though I have no evidence to disprove him in the same way you have no evidence to prove him, I wholeheartedly hope for everyone's sake this evil and disgusting religious figure does not exist.

@@christiankove7Matthew 10:28, Matthew 25:41, Luke 16, Luke 16:23, Mark 9:43, Mark 9:48, Matt. 13:42, Jesus preached about hell a lot of times and he also warned people like the pharisees, Jews and gentiles but it was mostly up to them so you do have a point but just understand that Jesus did preach and he commands us to preach as well to help, heal and lead people, mostly those who are broken hearted as well because there are people who really, really need God and his help and his healing while there are others who just need forgiveness but in all, God wants all to be saved, however there are people who have done terrible things who have no regret or remorse and therefore if they don't repent and change for the better with a genuine regretful and remorseful heart then God will judge and punish them for doing evil and sins

Honestly, fighting to convert someone is insane to me. I'm Buddhist and I'm perfectly fine with Atheists and people of other religions. We all co-exist and I like it that way. Letting the Atheists be is the right choice. We're all different and unique, it's all about variety. If we were to convert others, there wouldn't be balance. I agree w this video 👍

At the end of the day, it’s about being accepting about people’s beliefs. I don’t believe in god, although I believe Jesus is real and was a good dude overall. I have problems with the idea of non believers going to hell. My parents never forced me to believe in their specific religion and never believed in the idea that I’ll go to hell if I didn’t believe them (one Jew and one Christian). It should be always judging on character, not religion.

If the trade of not believing is ETERNAL suffering is that really free will? Eternal=Infinite Time, which is infinitely larger than our lifespan. If some truly believed hell to exist, then they are not making their choice to be Christian because of free will.
A lot of purposeless people here, and, for a healthier look on the athiest perspective; I personally believe that if you look at the universe and nature as a whole, you get the cold face of randomness and entropy, not the face of creator that needs to be worshiped. It’s a flawed way of thinking to the bone of the belief, because nothingness is incomprehensible to most people. But that’s the beauty of it all.

Jesus (PBUH) was given birth to by Mary. You worship a finite human being who was clearly dependent on the creator, had to eat, rest, go to the toilet, etc. If Jesus was dependent, he cannot be God as God is far superior and independent.
It even says in your Bible that Jesus fell on his face and prayed, so much for putting himself above abraham as falsely claimed in the bible and which Jesus (PBUH) did not do. Why would Jesus pray to the father if he was before abraham?

Jesus was indeed a prophet and was sent mainly to give the message of Islam (Islam=submission to god) to the misguided Jews at his time, not to be worshipped.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with seeking or spreading knowledge (corruption in your case), but to say that if you are non-christian you will automatically burn in hell tells me that you have some sort of illness towards others, let alone the ones who are actually correct.

True. As a Christian, I believe we do have to spread the word. But if some reject us then that’s okay, it’s not our job to save them. We are merely messengers, all we can do is spread the word and plant a good seed in people. It’s up to them to decide what to do with what we’ve told or given them, but we shouldn’t force the issue. And besides, it is said in the Bible that not everyone will be saved.

Okay so I was raised Catholic but I really am not that religious right now, and I have no idea which religion is true. I’m nervous either Islam or Christianity could be true and if I pick the wrong one I go to hell. So I’d like to respectfully ask you to give me 5 pieces of empirical evidence as to why you believe Christianity is absolutely true. Don’t say something like “oh it’s true because everyone in modern times hates Jesus” because that is just emotional. Also don’t quote the Bible because that is not evidence in of itself. I need 5 pieces of empirical evidence in favor of Christianity.
i used to be nervous on if islam is true, i spent countless hours on youtuber listening to debates and much more on why christianity is the truth. it takes time, learn the arguements on both sides and come to the conclusion urself.

Bro if you prove that any of the fairy tales you believe in are real I will believe instantly. But there is no proof. Not even evidence. Just because Jesus preaches good doesn't mean that he is divine or that any of the supernatural claims around him and your god are true.
The bible is my proof. The new testament is historical, its eyewitness testimony. Jesus was real and they did crucify him. And there's already evidence that the world has a creator.
but these 4000 other religions out there don't have as much evidence to it as Christianity, Jesus disciples spread the Gospel because they believed he was God and were killed for it and many Jews started to worship him as God because they saw the resurrection, Jesus body was never found and there is no historical record of him doing any wrong things

Its almost like people dont like when you say "if you dont have the same views as me, youll suffer for eternity". Theres a reason theres a lot of discrimination against christianity and islam, but much less against buddhism or hinduism.
