Finally, a successor kick-tail e-board with amazing looks & specs! Outstanding job @Fabi! Interested to see a video on how the belt version compares to the direct drive.
I have an Evolve GTR and Stoke but have been following your Videos for a while and like what I saw, the Black Carve was too close to the Evolve for me to buy but as soon as I saw this I knew I had to have one.. never ridden a direct drive before but looking forward to trying it, should arrive just in time for our British summer as well :-) . Pre-ordered on day one and had a nice email back saying I was the first person to purchase so that's my claim to fame. just counting the days now...
@@jofagoma well, if you take the battery off Exway flex, backfire zealot, evolve gtr, their battery enclosures are fully enclosed sealed units... When you take it off the deck you then have to unscrew a lid that's sealing the enclosure. On the Onsra Black Carve however when you take the battery off it's wide open, the deck is its lid. I don't know if this is the same design or not. Fully enclosed is better for water resistance you see. Hope it is, would be really awesome if so
@@contorta960 "fully enclosured" is a subjective term. It is enoughly protected to ensure some water tightness (unless you go hardcore and try to water jet your esk8 at a car wash) and it's ventilated enough to allow the temperature not to rise too much. It's a balance between both.
I have the Black Carve with the belts, never driven a miniature version & it being direct drive, would deff have to get used to it! And btw how many watts?
I honestly think it might be more confortable than a longboard for a beginner. Being easier or not is really subjective. It depends if you like more stability having a longer wheelbase or you like the flexibility to make tighter curves. But this deck is gives you insane grip and the griptape helps a lot with feet placement for beginners. Hope I helped you. Be confortable if you have more questions 😉
I didn't felt it wobbly at all. Actually really impressed how the dual kingpin handles 50km/h so well. I just remember going almost 60km/h downhill and started crying from how much the wind was blowing in my face 🤣
Waiting for ANYTONE to show this head to head with miles phantom board and see who comes out on top...apparently the miles phantom board has a more powerful battery
I understand how you see the similarities between both boards but honestly, I think it will be an unfair comparison. The ONSRA CHALLENGER has double kingpin, the shape allows your feet to be inside of the skate and wheel sinked in due to the concave shape and honestly the Miles Phantom to me is just weird and seems a bit uncomfortable in a skater POV. In terms of battery, I don't know what they use but the setup is the same 12s2p... So I don't see how the battery could be much more powerful. In the end it's all about how you feel to ride your skate, how it looks for you and how much fun you can have with it. That's why ONSRA (Fabi) went with a concave shape that reminds a mix between the old-school skateboards with the new gen electric ones. The kicktail for me nailed it perfectly, it's as easy to catch as a street skateboard 👌
@@jofagoma are those 18650 batteries or 21700 batteries? Because that's a massive difference ...then are their 40t or 50e batteries? Again a massive difference in amps and power ...so no they don't use same thing. I believe onsra are the 50e 21700 vs the miles boards 40t 21700 the miles has much more amps to give power as I understand thing ...the onsra bottlenecked all its power using weaker amp 50e batteries ..I have no idea why you would do this
@@LIVITLUVIT ONSRA uses 21700 50E. And no, they are not capping the power that the ESC is requiring. They can discharge 15A - single cell and 30A as a parallel 2P setup. The ESC is not demanding way more than that. 50E theoretically offer a bit more range than the 40T. The idea was to find a balance between power and range, not getting full power and sacrificing range. Meanwhile I really appreciate your feedback and it's something to take in consideration in terms of R&D for the future. Huge thanks! Feel free to ask more questions if you need 😉👌
Damn, you are 2 month too late for me Fabi ! I already start building DIY board with almost same build and spec but that enclosure and grip tape are awesome My build : Loaded Omakase deck / DKP truck / Belt drive but with only 10s2p for battery

Fabi, what about waterproof abilities? Sometimes I get caught by rain. Does Challenger can handle that?
Thank you for measuring the slope! A+
Just got mine today, took it out for a test drive. It's a beast :) (and a very heavy beast at that).
Can’t wait just preordered it

Thanks a lot for your preorder 🙏🏼🙏🏼 We’ll do our best to deliver asap!
Looks awesome! Kinda wish I had waited for this one haha.
Not a mini board but thinks mini carve would be a good name for it! 😂😂 Dang the kick tail makes me jealous. I should have waited for this.
That’s why we didn’t call it mini carve. Good point actually 🤣🤣🤣
...Is this a mini board?
Make a single kingpin option!
That looks incredibly awesome! Is it a fully enclosed battery enclosurer, if may I enquire? Cheers
I'm not sure how to answer your question but yes, it's a fully enclosured battery. It's well protected enough to handle rough riding 😎

wow!! looks great! bet rides great too!!
Fabi loves this more than any Evolve board, imagen that...
I want to see this compared to the miles phantom
This apparently has weaker battery then the miles ....
@@LIVITLUVIT but it still enough for rides i think, but the only big thing is the price
@@felipevaras1903 yea 1500$+ is a lot when I bought a pharmacy for under 1000$
This board looks really great. Also great mic quality! Is that a Rode wireless go with a lavalier mic?
That’s a Sennheiser Mic. To be honest i think it should be better and currently looking at some mics
nice setup! approximately how much? Do you deliver in dubai uae?
Yeah we deliver to Dubai 👌🏼 www.rideonsra.com
How about mountain test like the one you made for the Black Carve?
DO YOU LIKE IT MORE THAN STARY BOARD
3:32 Ein Anfahr-Assistent ware für solche steile Hügel doch etwas tolles?
The part where you say it can start from stand still was cut?? The 360 camera really makes the hill look a lot steeper from the side..
that board looks awesome yes not a mini board bar far !

6000 Watts (max) depends on if you talk about the motors only or the setup.
Challenger Belt Drive is coming 😉
Ahh man hell yeah that’s super dope ! Maybe I’ll just wait haha 🤗
Can’t find the video with challenger with 115 rubber wheels
When will you make the challenger with belts?
can it go off-road through the dirt?
Heey Fabi kommt dieses Jahr vllt schon die Long(Long)Bord version raus? :) haha
Hey Fabi will there be other wheel options ?
Great video!
Very nice great job 👍
How easy is it to drive if this would be my first board?
It’s not a mini board so at the end i think you can easily ride it. You can test it here in Lucerne if you want
Just send me a dm (please not here on YT)

@@jofagoma Thanks for your help :)
Do a kick flip!
Wanna try one some day 🤯
DKP would add to carvyness, but high speed is wobbly no?
Not really you can easily go 50kmh with these. Already did it in this vid and i ride pretty loose 😁

Intro Lugano bro ?
Yep yep it’s Lugano the whole video
Turn at 2:55 is the coolest moment of the video.
But for me this is too expensive.
HALO BEAST VS DIRTECT DRIVE BLACK CARVE. THEY ARE THE SAME BOARD
Good video
47Km/h i de 30er Zone, nice!
Chond eindlech ned so drofa wenns eeh illegal esch..
Digging the board but too pricy for me.
Should've not abandoned ur original company
What you mean what happened
Well they stole it all from me + money like explained in videos before
Always best to do it all yourself. Never get a business partner it jyst doesnt work out
