- Hi Everyone! Our backyard garden has come a long way. With each season, I try to add to the flowerbeds. There are a few more projects that we would like to tackle. My husband is looking to retire soon. Maybe then we'll have a little more time to spend on our wish list of things we want to add to the garden. Thank you so much for stopping by. :)

I thought your front yard was gorgeous, and now your backyard is equally so! I love how you have accepted and accommodated the needs of your sweet doggo! It truly is a garden retreat for everyone! What a beautiful, tranquil yard. I could stare at it forever. You have put a lot of time, work and love into it. The geraniums ae fantastic! I love the lights on the fence. I think I am going to try growing some creeping fig on my own fence. Lots of inspiration here. Thank you for sharing.

So lovely. I love how you have incorporated space for your pup. As I was watching your video I was thinking how I bet you enjoy strolling in your yard, and then I realized you are probably like me and any stroll involves me pulling and clipping and maintaining the space. I always laugh when people say, “oh I bet you love just sitting in your garden!” Never much siting going on 😊

Your garden is so beautiful! This weekend I went to a neighborhood garden tour featuring 8 backyard gardens in our neighborhood and your garden is much more beautiful than many of the gardens that I toured!! I love that it's very natural and soft, but also organized and structured. That's a hard combination to pull off, but you've done it beautifully ❤

Beautiful backyard, very peaceful. I’ve never seen a Cyprus that large before, that’s awesome! I have a dog run like yours for the cocker spaniel, he wiped out three hydrangeas last summer in a bed and I had to put up some wrought iron fence sections, it’s worked pretty good. 😊🌸

Such a tranquil, perfectly manicured garden. I know you must spend a lot of time making it look this clean and tidy. All your plantings are so lush and colorful. I only find clearance plants at Lowes. But 2 years ago they had baby gem boxwoods for $2.00 each!!!!! I got 10 for $20.00!!! Score! They are now starting to look like a little hedge. I also love my geraniums. Whites, hot pinks and burgundy. In the Bay Area , they bloom constantly and look gorgeous .
Thank you.😊 Lowe’s is a great place to pick up clearance plants. The Bay Area has good weather for gardening. My mom used to live in the East Bay and work in Blackhawk.

@birdhousegarden yes, she is a wonderful family dog, but she goes crazy at the delivery people when they come to our gate, especially when I am standing there. She is very protective. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your flowers, you definitely inspire me.

Very pretty yard. I planted a wax leaf bush and kept pruning it from the bottom I now have a beautiful small shade tree and it grew very fast. 😊

Thank you.😊 We originally used them to keep our pets away from pool equipment we had at the time. They were never discarded, and decided to incorporate them into the flowerbeds.

Hello, I also love your garden!!! Just beautiful! And I love the small rocks along the edge too! I dont think I've ever seen those used that way, but just gives a "finished" look. We have a ton of those in our backyard,may neec to see if I can do more with them!😀

Welcome 👋 and thank you.😊 My grandparents used to vacation near Big Trees and we’ve vacationed at Pajaro Dunes with our best friends. I really enjoy beach weather. Typically I get them at Lowe’s, and now Walmart. Sometimes the locally owned nurseries will carry clearance plants.🌿

Have you ever tried growing mandevilla or star jasmine? They would do great in your zone. And not to mention that the jasmine smells amazing! Definitely subscribed and looking forward to your next video!

Hello..👋 I’ve planted a few in the past. They received a bit of morning sun, then shade the rest of the day. They came back for 2 seasons, and that was it. I haven’t planted any since then. If you have long hot summers, definitely plant in as much shade as possible.😊🌿

Thank you.😊 I live in Fresno, California. Our zone is 9b. They’ve done well in our hot/dry climate. I do have them on drip, with 5 gph emitters. 🌿
I wonder if all zone 9B all the same I live in Texas and alot of humidity and high heat
I believe we differ with the humidity. We are very dry and receive little to no precipitation throughout our summers. 🌦️😊
