I feel that if we did follow through and snapped clay's neck we'd get off easy because of the aunt and her demon hating him, but doing it infront of Sasha would probably damaged their relationship permanently. So it was probably the best move to not mortal kombat finish him.
I think what is cut short, is the work of the male voice actor. i want to give a round of apllause to him for volunteering to play his role, as it is sometimes not as easy to play the bad guy. So if you read this, you really nailed it bro.

A vampire, werewolf, DÆmon and possibly a hellhound or even a fae there as well just to send him with a first class ticket straight to the big man.

Honestly, that whole conversation was handled really well. I'm glad it went in that direction instead of the two going in guns a blazin'. I'm also glad the confrontation went the way it did. It allowed for just enough tension for both sides to release their feelings without damaging the bond they have. Not to mention, all the VAs did wonderful jobs playing their respective roles! Realistic Antagonists can be difficult to play, and I believe this type of situation (with developing feelings after leaving an abusive relationship) was handled super well. Not to mention, the way the confrontation was initially addressed was vague enough that this vampire could've given a variety of answers on their intentions and it would still fit with the dialogue. It's cool how a character that technically doesn't have any lines could feel so fleshed out, while still having room for the person listening to add their own kinds of responses. It's one of the many reasons I love the way you write your scripts! All in all, wonderful job as usual, y'all! I'm excited to find out what else was in store for these two since I last listened to this series!
