- It's 1995 and Warframe just came out on the SNES! (Or was it 1999?? ;))
Sponsored by Digital Extremes! Check out Warframe here! wrfr.me/64-bits-demake
This is the tenth demake in the series, where we take modern games and imagine them on retro consoles. This time, we've made Warframe for the SNES! We took inspiration from MANY games this time. Like Power Rangers, Power Rangers The Movie, Axelay, Jurassic Park, Space Harrier, Super Turrican, Contra 3, Super Metroid and a few others! Even a little Shinobi 3 (that's Sega we know) We really poured all the love we have into this one and it should make you feel right at home if you grew up with a Super Nintendo!
In this exciting crossover between modern-day Warframe and the nostalgic SNES era, we pay homage to the games that defined our childhoods while showcasing the incredible gameplay and stunning visuals that make Warframe a powerhouse in the gaming industry. So grab your controller, pick your favorite Warframe, and get ready for an adrenaline-fueled retro adventure like no other!
Just a heads up, this video is sponsored by the awesome folks at Digital Extremes. But here's the deal: we've been approached by tons of companies for sponsored videos, and we've always been picky about who we work with. Warframe is different. It's a game we've played ourselves and absolutely adore. So when the opportunity to collaborate with them came up, we jumped at the chance to turn it into a retro SNES adventure! This video is all about our genuine love for the Warframe universe and our excitement to share it with you. Big thanks to Warframe for making this retro remix a reality!
so thank you @Warframe for sponsoring the video! we had a blast making this and working together!

Thanks for joining us on this SNES adventure, powered by the incredible world of Warframe! Special thanks to @PlayWarframe for making this retro remix possible. What other games should we tackle next? Share your thoughts! (And don't forget to like the video!)

Just a heads up: Yes it's our first sponsored video, but we declined so many sponsorships in the past, but this one is up our alley because we play ourselves and know the universe well! Hope you can enjoy it too!
Epic
Honestly if you're gonna be sponsored by any game it might as well be Warframe. DE's one of the most honest and genuine developers I have ever seen.
I actually would play this....Digital Extremes... make it so.
@@Drakengard-cb5othope you really enjoy it; best community ever (pm of you need anything)
I want this to be an actual game so badly
no joke, i had to stop myself from writting a wall of text explaining how they could pull off a megaman esque game, it wouldnt even be that hard, specially if they contracted a third party company like inti create, who is famous for doing that type of work for other companies like capcom or nintendo.
seriously, just make a traditional megaman game, with 1 intro, 1 intermission, 8 main missions, and 2 final mission, with a final unlockable after finishing mission.
put a new frame unlockable after each of the 8 missions/intermission. add umbra after you finish the game.
make primes unlockable upgrades for the frames, and make weapons, be craftable, with the bps drops from mobs, or with bps unlocked after every mission. make them weapons that have prime/wraith/vandal variants, so they can also be upgradable.
and you can even add mods, for % base stat bonus of the frames and weapons, arcanes for % chance bonus, exilus mod for mobility, and pets for general buff, for stuff like extra exp/drops.
finally, add side missions that unlock after you complete the mission(which is each based on a planet), and doing them unlock bps for the upgraded versions.
you could even add baro as a special trader who sells cosmetics for ship decoration, color pallets, alt helmets, and bps to upgrade prisma variants for certain weapons.
if you wanna go even further, you could make it so you could "equip" up to 4 frames in a "party" that you could swap during the mission, in the same style as the megaman ZX games, them all sharing the same health pool, but each with their own weapon loadout, companion and energy bar.
you could start with excal, and each frame you unlock can later get their prime after they max level, but you get umbra after the main game, and the prime excal after you complete all challenges(its basically an alt-umbra, with the same abilities as normal excal).
the version and mods would work kinda like megaman x5/x6.
so much potential. and im pretty sure people would love it.
@@marcosdhelenoexcal prime would be a preorder exclusive, which would have a gold plastic cartridge.
Right? This looks great!
I would play the snot out of it!
Same
The variety of animations is incredible! I loved the shift in style for chains of harrow.
Glad you liked it!
We really tried to switch in terms of gameplay to different styles to keep it fresh
@@64Bits thats just a signature with digital extremes, warframe is the only game that goes from badass space ninja who just woke up from a coma to a family dispute from a rich, petty and abusive father that started not just the warframe project but much much more... a game where you can fish and pull off ssx style tricks while commiting warcrimes at the same time is something I would never have imagined would be possible or attempted in the videogame space yet here we are
@@Yami_Industries If there's a description of Warframe to tell your friends, I think you did a good job haha. This game is crazy, and we love it.
Happy 10th anniversary to all the Tennos out there! Let's see what's to come for the next 10 years!
64 Bits - Warframe Demake for SNES
"the next tenno years"
All the different modes remind me of old games I used to play. I love it.
Glad we could hit that nostalgia feeling. We really tried hard to imitate the SNES feeling!
Happy you like it!
@@64Bits can you do Halo next please.
I would pay good money for an actual Warframe demake. Maybe not the same in scale as the original, but it'd be a fun side product.
Reminds me of the Frame Fighter minigame
That first person doom-like segment for harrow was sick
I just want to say it. Your faithful recreation of Mode 7 was simply splendid. The whole video was a direct hit to my nostalgia.
That was what we were going for. Glad you liked it :)
If i had this for my SNES way back with would probably have been my favorite game. So many inspirations from games i played over and over as a kid
This is amazing! I wish this was a real game so I could play it!
same.. I'd play it. It lowkey looks more fun than the actual game
Love how you captured so many iconic moments from the game.
To be fair we did got some help with that from Digital Extremes who pointed out the most epic events in the game.
Glad you liked it!
@@64Bits no doubt, just a great job, it looks terrific!
I'm now convinced that warframe is the best free to play game ever made. The devs even sponsored you for this video, tjats something you never see with any other games
I never thought that pixels and some music could be so moving...
Warframe has one (if not THE) best soundtracks and it's so under appreciated.
Having enjoyed Warframe for YEARS it's AWESOME seeing what it may have looked like had it been made earlier on, 10/10.
This is amazing, kinda wish this was an actual game, would legit play this.
Why even make these
it's not wasted, if you pay them enough they would probably make the game. Makibg these isn't free
or you can simply revisit all those games you miss.
Exactly@@chettonex
I'm imagining i enjoy that this demake does like a bunch of different genres that befit the parts it depicts
Archwing being a starfox-style pilot shmup and Railjack being a top-down schmup (Xevious, ZeroRanger), both tied together as space combat but highlighting how different they feel
Early Operator quests being more like Another World and Lester the Unlikely, where how un-platformer your platforming character is as much as an obstacle to overcome as all the actual obstacles (like everyone begrudgingly having to get used to Operator Mode following Second Dream)
Chains of Harrow being a jarringly different, deeply oppressive-feeling horror-style game
also all the cool wavy-effects and pseudo-3D stuff i normally don't see in SNES demakes is just really cool to see
As a Warframe player & old-school gamer I have to say that was amazing!!!
I loved this! Also, the Archwing shown here looks way more fun then what we got in game. In all honesty, a little demake arcade game based on Archwing would be a amazing addition to the Ludoplex. I would play the heck out of that!
What a nostalgic trip down memory lane! Both the WF story elements as well as the presentation! Well done!
How neat would it be if they made this a mini game in Warframe.
Every little detail of this is absolutely insane and incredible.
Gotta appreciate all the love put into every scene. You can see how well everything stays true to the console!
Had a blast working on this!
1:19 one of the best parts of this animation and the actual game
Yeah we loved this scene as well
The 2D side scroller type gameplay and artstyle is breathtaking. Should be a mini feature in the actual game too.
Jesus this is great... Honestly the "story" of warframe in 16bit looks like it'd work pretty well...
I’m glad to have been able to work on this albeit for just the cover art. Happy to have lend my hand on probably my favorite demake so far. Thanks guys ❤
Great work on the cover Liquorice! Happy you helped us out with that
You did an AMAZING job!
This is so well done, i'd love to play an actual warframe demake like this.
That was a very impressive video! Being taxi'ed to a "squad health regen mod" alert was one of my first greatest memories of the game
I love the scream at 0:52 hahaha the whole thing is so cool
This was incredible! It might be my favorite video from you folks! Great job!
Thanks a lot Voidshaman! It became one of our favorites too!
Loved it! Happy 10 years Warframe! Hope we got another 10 of this awasome game!
being a part of this game for 10 years, always great to replay with my brother now and then
Oh my god. Everything in it is amazing, but the Axelay reference is *chefkiss*.
Some of these modes would be fantastic if further developed and included inside Warframe. The Archwing and Empyrean ones looked pretty cool
This is an inspiration. I just know someone is going to make a full game out of it. Or maybe a game of each quest.
This rendition of the Second Dream theme is also amazing! You guys do amazing work!
Watched this multiple times already and still love it!
Aww, this is gorgeous! Awesome Work!
I really love these demakes! this one is very cool!
this is absolutely amazing. ive been sitting here in complete awe at just how amazing this looks. good stuff!
Glad to hear it! That's pretty much our goal with these videos :)
This is amazing. Well done man. I like how you made your own spin on the music.
I really liked all the references! Amazing job
love the sound design, holy moly
So very well made. Absolutely great work!
Absolutely mesmerizing, love every single second of it!
Love this you referenced so many things! Great work!
That Second Dream sequence...
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Yea' one of my favorite story parts in game
1:08 Finally, I get that Axelay sequel.
That was super cool, and a great selection of moments from across the game.
FANTASTIC!!! This gives me serious nostalgia for the old games, I love it, great job!!
This video turned out amazing!! I want to compliment everyone that worked on this project because ya'll did a great job :)
You're the best!
Great production . Amazing video . Epic effort
You timed the music perfectly for the Second Dream. So good.
That was the focus since it is one of the more emotional scenes.
Glad you liked it! :)
Everyone should watch this video it's sooo good! Amazing work!
Another masterpiece from the Bits, you love to see it!
I really have to say your videos are a sight for the eye, i just love that artstyle. Reminds me so much of my childhood playing the first Pokemon games.
Glad you liked it!
We actually made a demake involving the old pokemon games for gameboy :)
ua-cam.com/video/vEd8-wX3-EE/v-deo.html
Great work guys, and a great dedication to an amazing game. I couldn't think of a better sponsor for you guys than DE.
Incredible work again! Loved it.
Glad you liked it Erik!
Too amazing, it's a dream to have this with a real game in a physical arcade
This deserves so much more views
Omggggggg I play warframe since 2015 and I would play this every day as well! It looks SPECTACULAR
Incredible work and vision!
This was amazing!!!!
Dude, this is just so brilliant...!!
The second dream part really hit me, the memories...
Amazing work guys!
really well done, loved it! Can't wait for tennocon.
For Real your best video
this looks so good, nice job
The way you recreated old SNES animation sequences and gameplay displays, it looks like you actually have the same mindset for game design the devs did way back in the SNES days. It distinctly feels like an old SNES game I'm watching and not at all like a fan-made demake. Bravo.
We're huge suckers for nostalgia so we try to keep the same mindset for these demakes indeed.
Glad you like it!
omg!! what great work!! super talented! love the end animation toooo!!
I loved it! Well done everyone!
Absolutely stunning! I feel like I could reach out and touch the controller!
THIS WAS AMAZING!
I couldn't have done a better job in a thousand years. You guys really did put all the best parts of the game in.
And the retro cover of "This is What You Are" was exquisite.
Happy Tennocon!
Glad you enjoyed it preston! We got some help with picking the events but we put a lot of love in animating/designing them :)
Absolutely amazing!
Again the animation is incredible keep up the good work ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Wonderful work, as always. Keep it up, guys!
Thanks a lot! We're trying :)
dude, I remember the golden maw... that thing was terrifying
I already love this
This is just so amazing!!
Thank you!
Duuuude! What an incredible rendition of This Is What You Are
check out @64bitsextra where we uploaded the music!! :)
Loved the Axelay bit!
Ah, the memories ~
That was technically the hardest scene to tackle. But glad it payed off :)
Thanks!
Absolutely amazing work!!
Perfectly sums up the fact that Warframe truly is 5 games in one.
Really happy with this one! Awesome!
Favorite moment was Update 7.10, introducing other primes than Excal was so cool. It really feels like that was when Warframe took the real step from Alpha to Beta.
Great work!
That’s awesome. Well done guys !
beautifully made film you imagine yourself back in time, great
This is extremely well done
That was amazing!
amazing , we 100% need this kind of 'de-make' to actually be a fully developed game ; luv'd the genre swaps
THIS IS SO GOOOOOOD
OMG WE NEED THIS
Wish SNES game devs could've made something this good back then. So much potential
man this got me emotional so good 😭😭😭
Beautifully done!
Thank you very much!
This is so amazing
All your art styles are amazing!
Thanks a lot! :)
This is amazing!
