Those face scrubbers are Bomb! I'm an esthitician and when I was doing facials, I always used those - then I washed them and sent them home with the client as a treat. Love the one side to exfoliate and the other to help remove face wash product.
Our 'treasure box' at home a few years ago when my kids were smaller was at the end of the week, you got a fake dollar bills for each of your checkmarks (for chores and such). You could then either spend your money in the box with items that were different dollar amounts and then you had the option to make a deposit into your savings account to save for a special item. I would put my 'banker' hat on and the they would bring me their fake money and check book deposit record and fill out their deposit slip and give me the money and we would add it to their savings account balance for when they had enough money to buy their special items ... nunchucks, hair die, etc, which would require them to fill out a withdraw slip and do math in their register. We worked this into Math and Consumer class as they kept track of their money, learned how to spend a little but also save a little, and how banks work. It could be so much fun with your smaller kids as they are about the same age and they all can learn to use it. Any way you do it - have tons of fun with it.
We always get the werthers candies from the Dollar Tree to keep in our car for outings. My favorite are the Carmel and green apple ones. Watching your haul made me hungry😋

For the race track really good buy. You pull the blue part back with the car inside and it shoots the car forward. Heidi swap chunky glitter is only sold at Michaels and joannes in the scrapbooking section.
Bryce could write about Star Wars as a book report along with the art project. The one on the shower or brushing his teeth lends itself for a water usage unit in science. It's amazing for the kids to learn to take care of our water. I remember my students finding out how much water each person uses everyday.

Idea for physical education; lummi sticks. Google lummi stick patters. You can make your own sticks out of rolled , tightly, magazines or news papers. Sometimes these are the best to learn patterns with. Of course wooden sticks sound the best. You can use an old broomstick. Cut in lengths of 12 inches. Each person needs a pair of sticks and the patterns are performed by two people working together. It’s fun!😊❤️
I would use the game room for the school room also.. I've been homeschooling for 2 years now and was in my dining room, now we have a house just for school it's so nice and organized I love it.

Other curriculum choices to check out are Abeka, Rod and Staff, Ace, Alpha Omega, My Fathers World, and many more... also HSLDA can help you find a coop group in your state for some socializing or field trips etc. How exciting. Mine are all grown now but one is a surgical tech, one is a pilot and one is about to graduate as a finance manager. Have never regretted it, hope you enjoy this journey.

I have bought those small clear craft bottles for my daughter to make a glitter globe with glycerin and snow globes. We just turned them on the cap after we glued something on the inside.
I would walk around the classroom and just draw stars on their papers, using bright colored pens, when the kids were working. I wasn't their mom so that worked. It saves on stickers or you can use rubber stamps, too. Bryce might enjoy USA puzzles or making flashcards with states and capitals. I know you are avoiding the computer, but abcya.com has a free states and capitals game. It's fun to see how excited you are!

Great haul! I think you have some wonderful ideas for classes/activities, etc. Something I used to play with my niece was a scavenger hunt/word game. I left clues for items that started with certain letters. For example :knife (used to cut food), orange (a fruit that grows in Fl), banana (a yellow fruit), Oreo (a chocolate sandwich cookie). Then, once they find all of the items, they arrange the letters into a word (in this case BOOK) and that is their prize. Of course, you then use the knife to cut the orange and banana and serve them with the Oreos as a snack. You could make the clues more difficult, depending on their abilities. Good luck with the home schooling. Looking forward to updates.

Hi. Just wanted to bring your attention to the Assured Mens Wipes. Since they contain a form of Ethanol and some Assured sanitizing products are being recalled (imported from Mexico), I'd make sure they are not from there. I know some are also from China and Canada, which I haven't heard anything about. We had Assured Hand sanitizer (from Mexico) that I got from Dollar Tree when this all first started and I threw them away because that 'type/details' were on the recall list. Just want you to be aware and keep your family safe!

When I taught school, I had sets of supplies in the plastic shoes boxes for every two kids. In the boxes, I put a dollar tree Tupperware container that was the trash box. All pencil shavings and trash went in that box and they emptied them at the end of the period. Just an idea for your pencil sharpeners.
I know Walmart has it, I dont remember what aisle but they have a canister of that lipton southern sweet tea mix. I go back and forth of buying tea bags and buying that stuff I keep seeing your dollar tree halls and keep telling myself that I need to get into dollar tree
Closer to the end of year holidays is always the best time to check out your local dollar tree. I feel like they really stock up on so many items, especially if you have children 😊
Also you should check out Amy marjoram or something like that. She has a different video every day and some I think you would like. She has been home schooling all ten of her kids forever and even has a curriculum that she has free access to on her website. What I think is the coolest is that she has a home economics class you can have completely free access to and it is amazing and I’m sure you probably already do some of these things with your daughters but there’s guaranteed to be something in there that you will benefit from. Of course your videos are hands down my favorite! Take care.
Vegans are very particular so i believe proper term for your daughter is transitioning vegan either way she seems very mature for her age and the fact that at her age she is makeing changes that most teens have not even thought of ❤
Or plant based. I describe my mom as mostly plants based. She uses honey. And she is vegetarian, but will eat food with eggs and dairy at restaurants or other people's houses.

Hi Vanessa. Loved the haul! One game you might see about is a Trivia Jr game. Not sure but it may be something you can incorporate into your home school, maybe a fun Friday game with history, social studies, those type of things. Not sure if they do but wanted to mention.
Just a suggestion. I think it would be great if your children could find another home schooler somewhere else in the United States or even in another country to be a penpal for. I think they could learn a lot from that experience. You have some great ideas to get your children’s things organized good luck with your homeschooling.
My daughter was vegan from 15 to 18.. she gained about 25 lbs and her doctor told her it’s hard to do that lifestyle so young.. she has recently started a regular diet and lost 20 lbs.. she still chooses vegan and veggie options sometimes but now eats lots of chicken.. I’m honestly happier cause now I don’t have to worry about several meals..
Holiday stickers would be cute for their personal calendars 📆. I wish we celebrated thanksgiving in the uk and even 4th of July!! I absolutely love decorating for a holiday!! Lol. My son is 13 and in comprehensive school and we use the dry erase boards for spelling tests as he struggles with English. Schools will be going back in the Uk in Sept and I’m really nervous as I have some health conditions. I really admire you for homeschooling xxx🍋
Your dollar tree is the same as what we call pound land in England love going to our pound land coming home with so many bags kids always get excited when I have been there 🤩

I find that this time a year the dollar tree is not the best price for school supplies. You can get notebooks for$0.25, better bigger binders for cheap, good brands for less than $1.
Those foam beads bring up bad memories! A couple friends and I did a craft day with our kids and those beads. Omgoodness. It was a nightmare. Those things just blew everywhere 🤦♀️😂
I have alopecia and have very little hair left. Pearl is amazing for donating her hair and giving another child hair to enjoy.
Buying school supplies is the only thing I miss about homeschooling. I loved it! So much fun.

Love the hall.....those little plastic jars I use for gift cards add shred in them time a bow ect hang on tree at Christmas make them find the gift.

I used the hair dye on my girls and it lasts about 3 weeks .They have a really strong smell but didn't seem to damage her hair.

Holiday stickers would be cute for their personal calendars 📆. I wish we celebrated thanksgiving in the uk and even 4th of July!! I absolutely love decorating for a holiday!! Lol. My son is 13 and in comprehensive school and we use the dry erase boards for spelling tests as he struggles with English.
Schools will be going back in the Uk in Sept and I’m really nervous as I have some health conditions. I really admire you for homeschooling xxx🍋

I find that this time a year the dollar tree is not the best price for school supplies. You can get notebooks for$0.25, better bigger binders for cheap, good brands for less than $1.

Those foam beads bring up bad memories! A couple friends and I did a craft day with our kids and those beads. Omgoodness. It was a nightmare. Those things just blew everywhere 🤦♀️😂
