I love what he says about modesty! I live in Canada and I feel like I've been forced out of my modesty and I just feel like I can't stop myself anymore, like I've lost it. The damage is done :'(.

Ahmed.a_94 Jazakullah, since I last saw this video, I can say I have regained some of what I lost if not even more. Thank you for that kind comment. Allah is showing me the way. Alhamdulillah.

2:58 i was always shy and friendly to people as a child. I got bullied because of my modesty for being kind and friendly and quiet to people around me.
Now I'm suffering with PTSD cuz i got bullied i am on medication now because of trauma.

2021 now. Here in Indonesia, a south east Asian country with the most Muslim population in the world, entering college we were told (forced) to participate in an act of discourse with the lecturer either our grades went down. Pretty unsettling environment for those who just want to observe quietly before actually questioning, not to mention they forced us to have an outgoing behavior. I pray for the best for anyone who’s stuck in this condition.

Much of what this man says makes sense to me, particularly that he notices that some people naturally ave a sense of modesty even in a society where modesty is considered a detriment. It isn't a flaw to be erased from the child, a society that deems it so is in error. On the other hand, what if a child is naturally outspoken? Should they be made to be more modest?
