This era was the prime of film making in America and in other parts of the world: So much class of acting and quality of actors: Really so beautiful to watch, They have passed away and I thank them for the entertainment they gave use... pure quality:
Mitchell`s foresight was remarkable, a most arresting story. Great court room scene to round off the film, Cooper brings great authority to his scenes, Steiger insinuates himself like a viper into the acerbic exchanges, showing that dynamism that would see him grow into one of the true Greats of the industry.
Didn't Jimmy Doolittle lead the MITCHELL bombers to Bombay Tokyo off a flat top? Perishing had a fighting soldier under him during the war against Villa who rose to be a 3 or 4? ✴️ General who too was sidelined by his superior, right? Old George Patton? There's much more but as the hotshot prosecutor ROD in another role had said of the WATERFRONT rule, " it's best to be D & D"

Oh yes. Very much so. For me the 40's to the 60's was the best decades of motion pictures - American or British!

Honor and Blessings to All who served and serve the Country !!!❤🙏🇺🇸✌️God Bless USA!
Very informative movie. I enjoyed watching this and learning a part of history I never knew about.
The sea plane shown at the beginning of the movie was current during WW2, developed in the '30's.
The planes used in the Doolittle raid against Japan were B-25 Mitchell bombers. Ironic and significant.
Rod Steiger arrived a little late unfortunately - he raised the bar in terms of acting.
A Very Interesting Movie !! And Boy O Boy Was He Correct ! Japan Did Bomb Pearl😈 Harbour, just like He believed that they would. 😢😢
I Agree, GOD BLESS 🇺🇸 America!!❤
Wait until they find out what he did with MAME.

Cooper was badly miscast as Mitchell.
Yeah I can’t but agree
