Hallelujah! The prong setting I have needed. Love your tutorials, no silly music, no unnecessary editing. Just good, straight forward sharing of knowledge. Thank you.
love this. i have been making wire jewelry for years now. it seems to be getting more popular lately. thank you so much for your helpful ideas and designs.
Mr. Nichols, i saw Amber's post in our jewelry group and just watched your Faceted Stone Ring video... fascinating! i usually use round wire to wrap pendants, and made some very simple rings years ago, but now i'll have to try this technique... you are truly a wonder! i am going to share this on my Facebook page to inspire others... thank you! Tara B.
Another delightful variation! I typically only see these with 5 wires, and 5 binding wraps, only using the wires around the edges to lock in the prongs. I imagine that this way might be even sturdier. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful ring. I appreciate how you take your time it helps to see what you are doing. I want to try this but I will try in copper first. Can you tell me what size plyers you are using?
Can you tell me how far up you measured the pliers to make the first bend? I have a large savorski crystal I want to make a ring out of. I love your work and how you give exact measurements. I have been making your cabochon rings and I’m ready for more of a challenge.
I agree, but my tutorials were made years and years ago and was used in a classroom environment that did not use the metric system. Every person that under takes a project can adapt to a measuring system of their choice. Excellent advice, I thank you.

I watched this over and over till I got the hang of it. Thanks
The best video tutorial ever!! 🤗 Amazing work
I'm so glad to find your channel, can't wait to make something.
Great tutorial. I do think a thumbnail shot of the ring close-up would help. You covered it up at the end with other thumbnails. Thanks. ❤
Yes, we are working on that now. Yes, a real problem with our videos. Thank you, Thank you.
It’s very beautiful! Thank you very much! 🌸💕🌸
Only 50 subs!? I gotta share your videos on the wire art groups I'm in, they will definitely appreciate what you're doing here!
Awesome! Thank you!
@@wireartjewelry9045 can this be done with smaller stones? Like 5-10mm?
Beautiful ring💖💖💖
Me gustó lo voy a hacer pero tengo una piedra facetada redonda, estaria bueno que hagas uno con una piedra facetada redonda!😊

Thank you!
Stunning work. Hard to see often
Sorry about that, these were made back in the 80s or so. I think they still have a lot that people can learn and use.
I learned this ring years ago. Made three of them then forgot about this pattern as I moved on to other designs. Thank you for the refresher!
You are so welcome!
Brilliant. The prongs come out exactly the same.
Good job. Please try some other projects. Have fun and thanks.
You're a great instructor but I seem to mess it up at the prong setting. I shall keep on trying.
I am so glad to have found this!
Have fun. Thanks
I take a size 10 ring so I would need to know how you measure for size please thank you

Hi love this ring,But I had a question for you how far down your pliers are your notches for the two different size prongs. I would like to try this.
What size drift punch are you using Dale?
I love watching your tutorials. I only wish you worked out your measurements in metric. From a grateful subscriber.
I hate to give an advice but as a jewelry desiger to designer, for right measurements better use metric system, like your designs
