kylo finally had it all, he got the power, he now reigns as supreme leader, he got his revenge against his uncle. and after all this, he's still unhappy. he didn't give Rey an ultimatum unlike his grandfather, he pleads. earlier he couldn't bring himself to shoot his mother. I think he knows deep down, he doesn't belong to the dark. and neither does rey to the light, as she didn't reject the dark side twice. no more sith as they are extinct thanks to the chosen one. and now, a new form of force users might rise from the ashes. ones that don't become sith nor jedi. and Rey will be waiting for Ben to join her.

Anakin started out good, then through Episodes 2 and 3, we saw him become bad, the mask being a symbol of ultimate evil. In EP. 7 we see Ben as bad with his mask, then in EP. 8 we see a shift, where some good comes out and his mask is ditched. I believe in 10 it will end with him good. They better go with that. I mean they lined it up so beautifully to end that way. Not only that but it would be a good teaching opportunity. That even if you have gone down a dark path, you can still change and make it right.
