В жизни не так много вещей о которых я искренне сожалею. Одна из них то, что я не обнял моего десятилетного сына в момент, когда мы смотрели этот эпизод и слеза катилась у него по щеке.
What exactly happened to the ships engineers whom most viewers may have forgotten about in the film? They're only seen briefly in the sinking, but not seen rescued afterwards....
i thought that when jack davenports character heard that radio rock was sinking he would have gone against Branagh's character's wishes to help them on the boat.
@abehambino I would have expected the British Coastguard or the Royal Navy to do it regardless of orders. They have an obligation to respond to any civilian ship in distress.
Bill Nighy is such a badass and this movie is a freaking gem. It's one of those movies I just feel like I need to show to as many friends as I can.
This film not only had one of the best soundtracks, but also one of the best USES os that soundtrack! Sheer perfection, especially this scene!
music was great in it. I own it on cd.
_The good news is the engine has exploded and we're all going to die_

When the real Radio Caroline stopped broadcasting in 1967, A Day In The Life was played then silence. Now that would have been one fkn sad day!
That was Radio London. Radio Caroline continued to broadcast from international waters until 1990.
@@laurencetait692 Yes my apologies. I wrote that a couple of years ago. I got the stations mixed up. Sorry.✌

@@hidalgobc haha! In that case I'm with you
This scene and the scene in High Fidelity with Rob sitting on the bench in rain, Dylan's Most of the Time playing.

This scene...that song...still brings me to tears.
The Greatest song of all time. Totally agree it was perfectly deployed here.

Another good choice would have been Gordon Lightfoot - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

Imagine if they made this film in the actual 60s.
Would have been interested to see their casting choices
If you're trying to find this movie and can't, look for "The Boat That Rocked".
To think this is based off a true story is just devestating 😢
I love this movie
Don't know about you guys, but if the last music I ever heard was Whiter Shade of Pale... I'd be OK with that.
You will know you have reached heaven if you continue to hear it. Just exquisite.
