MC, in my experience the smoothest action out of the box has been my damasteel Sharp by Design Evo Typhoon. How does the action on this compare? A small step down or very similar? Thanks!
Why it’s so smooth. “Bearings and Washers: Custom 10-roller bearing system. Cage with external O-ring fully sealed. Replaceable copper washers with oil reservoir.” Oh and those backspacers are embedded into the semi-integral handle and internally milled! Wicked knife!!! 🔥🔥🔥
They are indeed loose (but housed) caged needle bearings in the pivot. Leftyedc has a disassembly (bless him) as it was a pain in the you know what to take apart and re-assemble lol
The last 1/2" of blade not being sharp or sharpenable (like the Spyderco Mamba) absolutely kills it for me. Thank God - it's an expense I could do without.
You got it right the second time, its Prime Arc, its a character class from Warhammer 40k. Genetically engineered perfect warriors, the sons of the immortal emperor. And LeftyEDC took one apart, it uses loose roller bearings running on grease and comes with thick bronze washers with little slots in them, im guessing to retain lube in the slots like in Chris Reeves
That knive shape is a sharpener's worst nightmare, recurves and curves on the same blade, good luck resharpening that XD But overall beautiful knife, very impressive work, the blade itself is not a bad design, just not easy to sharpen ig
Oh boy. When I saw the knife in its closed position, I got really really excited. But all that excitement immediatly fadet, when you flipped it open and I saw the bladeshape. It has still some pretty awesome elements, especially at the handle and I love the size and chunkiness. But the blade itself really turns me off.
Absolutely stunning piece!! I am going to guess that small seam cover(?) Maybe a tongue and groove compression fit possibly. This is incredible, I am sure I need and possitve I can't afford it 😂
I normally won't even look at knives made in China anymore (more of a Shiro, CKF, and USA made knife guy these days), but this is sick AF looking. Think I'm definitely going to have to look into getting my hands on one of these.
Just an FYI, it's pretty well known that CKF knives are all manufactured/OEM in China (Kevin John's Green Thorn factory is the likely team behind the operation, however it still isn't 100% confirmed). The owner of CKF Mikhail Kulygin even states on their website that the CKF team is responsible for the "customized modifications and detailed finish work" on their knives that give them that "one-off" aspect when completed, but the sole manufacturing of the USA, Austrian, and Russian parts/materials that produce their knives is completely done in China. This is why their preorders take an exceptionally lengthy amount of time compared to other brands/companies because CKF must first put in their order with the OEM (send CAD files/proto-type blueprints), then the OEM likely orders and purchases the parts/materials which are globally sourced, they are then manufactured (3-5 months), lastly, the completed knives are shipped back to Russia where the CKF team does their final finishing work and custom modifications on the production batches they receive.
I have already blown the blade budget for the year, but OMG consider me aroused. For roughly $500 this is way more compelling to me than a CRK or other big brands in this price tier.
Cmon man. I had to have the tao 2, then tristates, then the compadre and now you keep posting stuff like this? Not to mention the Excalibur is coming. My wife hates you 😁
I like the blade a lot, but the Zirkuti and overall "Chonk" of the whole construction doesn't do it for me. I applaud them for not being boring though. This thing will certainly never NOT be a conversation starter when drawn and deployed.
Incredible to think the Crystal Ti was not the star of the show! Looks like there are 7 different versions and two blade styles of that Primarch knife. I am curious how the pocket clip functions; I have noticed some of the spring pivot pocket clips don't provide enough tension so if you could include that aspect in your review I would appreciate it.
@@kosher8720 not an opinion. It's 100 percent fact. I honestly don't care where ya get your knives. You do you. It don't change the absolute fact that some of the very best come from there.
Either way I don't really care if the majority can't afford it. I show these types of knives because they're interesting. Not because they're affordable
I show people my mokuti driver from good Skrew, and they ask me if I’ve lost it. The ones who like knife stuff, always get it. It makes me happy. I spin it by myself, and I enjoy the way it looks and feels, so that’s what matters. I didn’t purchase mine, and I would have spent the money on that one, knowing darn well I would have ended up with the unicorn vomit (think that’s it’s real name lol ) one. But I won it - and they were one of the coolest companies to deal with, afterwards. Shoutout to good Skrew and I love screwing around with my mokuti driver. I effing love it. Knife guys and girls get it - but everyone else will look at you like you must be selling drugs or you’re making horrible financial decisions, lol. That. knife. F*CKS. She’s a looker, packing Vanax under the hood, with some really realllllly nice details from the relief cut, to hardware, to that gorgeous pivot and pivot collars. Those studs are perfection and I could care less about them in the path - that knife looks amazing, and it’s a chance for Reate to show off how well their machining is doing - that pocket clip alone is more milling than many other knives - has texture and ramping and 3d milled - I really dig it. Where I noticed most of the showing off, was the addition of that lanyard hole, That looks VERY shirogorov to me- like how they make all those angles and different curves to make the best path for a lanyard- every little detail and all the milling that has to go with it. I’m impressed, again, by reate (this is made by reate right!?) and the designer has a design language that speaks to me, loudly. I dig it.

Santa please .
You’re my OG knife channel. Thanks for all that you do!
I can't tell ya how wholesome it is to see you gush over this work of art as you analyze it and find new details to absorb
Reminds me of a Klingon weapon. I love it!
It’s so nice to see something completely blow you away like this did. Can’t wait for the review!
I love your reaction to this knife! What an awesome unboxing!
I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say your brand of glee is appreciated…

I ask myself “why am I like this” multiple times a day, I understand the struggle 😂
Based solely upon your enthusiasm, I'm going to have to get one of these. Can't wait until it becomes available
That is a killer knife! The color on that Goodskrew would make amazing scales on a knife.

I’ll just go back to my Civivi Elementum in G10 now.
🤣
Yeah bro but don't worry, knife collecting isn't only for the big spenders, 50 bucks can still get you very aesthetic looking knives.
😂🤣😂🤣😂

$589 for this version seems really reasonable for all the millwork in this plus VANAX blade...
WOW, I Love This Piece, everything on it looks Awesome, Break it Down MC and Look Inside Her 👊😎👊
wow my new laptop and this is the first video i watch becouse i love this knife goof, AND THE KNIFE COST TWICE AS MUCH URRG 👍👍 keep it up brother

Funny how taste works I like exactly the things you dislike and reverse. 😅
I really love the blade.
Yeah I felt the same oh well knife isn’t for me
Dude!!! That's totally bad ass!
But I thought you didn't like recurves? But seriously, out of this world awesome folding knife!
YES haha. It's crystallized Ti.. sweeet driver!! Wyd with that old one?? Trade me something cool!!
Absolutely stunning piece!! I am going to guess that small seam cover(?) Maybe a tongue and groove compression fit possibly. This is incredible, I am sure I need and possitve I can't afford it 😂
I dont like recurves, tanto, compound grinds, and not a fan of zerki ti if im honest...... but i fricken love this knife.
Dang, that thing is wild! I wonder if it's using a bushing pivot system which, in theory, should make it feel like it's riding on air.
Looks like a Max Ace titanus 2 what used to be known as the Hydra
I think twosun came out with crystal ti first. Not sure though
No. I'll have to find the original source but it wasn't twosun
Thanks for sharing bud👊🏻
Thanks!
❤
Very Space Odyssey looking knife !
And I knew that when you realized it was VANAX you would freak out a little bit 😂

If I could afford this it would probably be at the top of my list. It seems awesome in every way.
That driver is 🔥AF!
Sold out! Missed it! There are other versions available though for those wondering.
Only saw two versions available super high end or carbon fiber inlays in the handle
All 7 variants are sold out.
@@EWTHeckman nope
Everyone loves a Good Skrew
So Awesome!!!!
I hate liking over expensive stuff, darn it😂👌
Theres a leftyedc video where he disappeared this knife its pretty cool great video man 👍
Warhammer intensifying 🤘🏼
MC has no clue about Warhammer 40k. He mispronounced Primarch 😂
Thats gas station in all of the best ways
That, is a work of art.
That knife is insane
I think they use a fully sealed caged roller bearing system
I'll add this to the list of 100's of knives I want that i'll never afford
PayPal pay in 4. 😅
stunning!
Your joy is palpable... The squees and swoons and long pauses... Hilarious. And the blade is wicked sick.
Beautiful.
Definitely wild, and impressive. But not my thing, aesthetically.
I would buy it immediately if not for the recurved blade... i still might.
I have already blown the blade budget for the year, but OMG consider me aroused. For roughly $500 this is way more compelling to me than a CRK or other big brands in this price tier.
The plunge grind is is ridiculously bad
At least one of these comments in every video
@@metal_complex Neevesknives’ video got me to pay attention to it
@caopao right, but according to the average standard, over half of all plunge grinds are "terrible".
The right word is "inconvenient."

Would you just look at it?!?

Right up there with a Tesla cyber truck.
Easiest way to describe this video...🤯
Youre a jedi now thats a lightsaber but a kinfe so lightdagger
I hope they'll make a little more wasn't able to get one
Crystal ti sounds like a new drug...😅
8.7 on the slap
It's roller bearings
aaaaand i want it

I think I found my grail
If you want to watch an entertaining video what's Lefty EDC take this knife apart
God of click bait topics
Gotta be 4 or less and it’s not
I’m in the minority - I don’t like it. I enjoyed watching MC review it. Unfortunately it’s just another China made OEM (per their website).
Some of the best knives in the world come from China and at half the cost of their American counterparts.
Which ones?@@jeremyweisinger8655
