- More than 25 years ago, teen witch Sabrina Spellman (Melissa Joan Hart) moved in with her two enchanting aunts (Caroline Rhea, Beth Broderick) for the T.G.I.F. hit 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch.' In 2017, Entertainment Weekly reunited the cast at Stan Lee’s L.A. Comic Con and discovered the show holds just as special a place in their hearts as it does for the audience members who grew up watching it.

I used to watch the Melissa Joan Hart version and a bit of the animated series.
Netflix version is kinda morbid type than this one.... I like this Sabrina with Melissa Joan Hart way better.
I actually wouldn't mind so much different take on Sabrina but when I heard that the cat won't talk this was dealbreaker for me. There is no Sabrina without talking cat. Not for me. Not ever.

That was the worst part of the show. It was so forced, and the idea of a soulmate is so toxic. If Sabrina had done the adult thing, she'd have moved on.

Makes me feel so old. I am now in my 40's and I loved Sabrina back in the 90's. I loved all the characters but Salem was always my favourite, followed by the Aunts and of course, Sabrina herself. I watched Clarissa when I was younger as well.
Today, I play the sims 4 and actually built a replica of the Spellman Mansion and now that we have realm of magic, I put a portal in the closet which whisks the sims away to the realm of magic.
Same, I am 39 and agree - and I totally want to see this sims4 house, please! :)

i met Melissa joan hart one time at comic con and i think i surprised her by saying that i was a big fan of sabrina the teenage witch because i was a young fan and she said to me well im glad that a new generation gets to enjoy Sabrina.
I was one of those 10 year olds who is now in their 30s and omg I STILL LOVE this show! I will occasionally even talk about it at work with my coworker and send him Salem gifs as replies. I remember Salem was always my favorite character and sent fan mail to him saying how I too wanted to rule the world some day. Such great memories!

I just binged the entire seven seasons online. I will never tire of this show, I am 37 now and still love it as much as ever. Would love a reunion episode or mini-series.
One of my favorites. I’m one of those who grew up with the show and still rewatch the whole series. I’m so glad they gave us that beautiful ending. It would be so cool for Melissa to create a good spinoff with Sabrina’s and Harvey’s children and their magical family 😍🤞🏻🔮

My pre-teen and teen years were spent watching Sabrina, Charmed, Dawson's Creek, Friends and 7th Heaven... There was some kind of magic to all those 90s shows. Nothing similar can be found on tv nowadays. Salem the cat will forever be one of my favorites, he made me laugh like no other!
I agree! It was a whimsical era, then we started making fun of it later and now everything is ironic/reductive of something else but often without a clear direction

I was 13 when the show aired. I was a huge Clarissa Explains it All fan so I was so excited for this show and loved it till the end.
Melissa said that sometimes when she traveled, she was either called Clarissa or Sabrina. 🥰

I thought my cats were the only ones that watched the show, they watch it with me and stand in front of the tv when Salem appears on screen.
I hate when they say Hilda was very irresponsible. She was just free-spirited and more open-minded but she was still responsible
I always saw her as impulsive with a conscience.
Harvey is the best TV boyfriend ever ♥️ I absolutely loved this show!!
I really liked Harvey, but he could definitely be crappy when it came to standing up for Sabrina. He never put Libby in her place any time she talked trash on Sabrina just because she was "nice" to him. And despite his best friend (the witch hunter dude) being a dick to Sabrina, he continued to be friends with him. I am glad Sabrina and Harvey ended up together in the end, but he definitely needed to be better at having Sabrina's back.
@@englishatheartI think that's taking the sitcom too seriously, Harvey is supposed to be clueless about Libby because he's dumb, and in many storylines Sabrina has to be worried about Libby stealing Harvey from her. If you apply that standard, then a lot of the spells Sabrina and her aunts use can be considered rape and enslavement, so they should be in jail.
Wow, this makes me trip back to my teenage days when I had just moved to the states with my family. I watched this show while I struggled with English and it was so rewarding to be able to understand more and more of it as my English got better. This show was one constant that stuck with me all those tough years. Thanks to everyone who played a part in this show!

I'm 24 so I grew up watching the OG sabrina on ABC.
Yes I also watched the new Sabrina on Netflix and I love both, HOWEVER the original just has that spark that the new version cannot replicate. From the comedy to Salem who is iconic btw you just can't beat it.
Salem is still my favorite all these years later. He was so sassy and hilarious.
I love this show! One of my favorites growing up. I think I was 7 when it came out. Good times, it is my go to when I want something familiar, chill, and fun to watch. I wish they would have mentioned Mr. Kraft and the other teachers, Valerie, her cousin Amanda, and Miles.
Not only was Melissa my favorite actress from the show Clarissa, but I was so excited to have the same name as this show when I was younger!! I grew up on this show, watched it from beginning to end! I was 9 when it premiered 😄

Sabrina The Teenage Witch has always been one of my favourite tv show's. Always watch it over and over. Always wishing the actors would come back in a new show. Maybe Sabrina and Harvey raising their child who is also part witch. :)

I’m an 80’s baby and Sabrina was one of the shows I used to watch as a kid. Was 13 when it began. Feel so old now.
I love This show. When I lay down at night to relax this is what I put on. Oh how I miss the 90s.
My favorite character was Jenny - the friend from Season 1. Mr Poole was great too. IMO, season 1 was the peak of the show. But I had the biggest crush on Sabrina back in the day.

She didn't "find it", every person of her generation knew the comic. I am 10 years older than Melissa, I don't live in United States, actually I live in a spanish speaking country and knew about the comic, because in the 60 's and 70's kids and young people used to read comics a lot, and Archie was very read. May be Melissa didn't know that. I read a lot of Archie comics in the 70's.

While I am old enough to have seen and read the original Archie comics, and then Sabrina, I would say the reason this show was so good was the excellent casting. Well, that, and I wondered how much better my high school years might have been with magical powers.

I was just about to turn 30 when Sabrina the Teenage Witch premiered on ABC and wasn't in the show's target demographic, but ejoyed it. Some of the most humorous stuff that I had seen in years up to that point. I'm in my late 50's now and I still rewatch episodes on Hulu periodically. Classic sitcom. One of my neighbors has a cat who is identical to Salem. My neighbor, Heather named her cat Magic. Magic is a great cat.

One of my ALL time favorite shows was Sabrina the teenage witch, I would watch every Friday night. I loved Calissa explains it all, the Sabrina the teenage witch movie, I am still a huge fan of Melissa Joan Hart's. I loved the entire cast through out the run of Sabrina. I wish there was a reboot. I am so sorry, I don't like the new Sabrina on Netflix, it's too scary and dark for me. Sabrina the teenage witch TV show was fun, light hearted and I just enjoyed it so much.. this was a fantastic show and loved every bit of it and was so upset when it was the final show. I did however, finally bought the entire series on DVD when it came out. Sending lots of love ❤️ and hugs 🤗 to the entire cast, you all did a fantastic job

Everyone looked great at the reunion! A long time had passed, but even the aunts looked fantastic
this show was the only time me and my twin sister ever got along, we would be busy trying to murder each other (normal sibling rivalry), then sabrina would come on and we instantly turned into the best of friends. to this day we call the time we stopped hating each other the "sabrina effect"

Parents should help their children accomplish things and thrive. As long as a job doesn't go to someone who doesn't remotely do well at it, it shouldn't matter if the person got the job because of their parent.
Her mother bought the rights to the comic to make the movie, produced the movie which did well, she then pitched the show to the networks with the goal for Melissa to do it... Without them there wouldn't have been a show at all. It was always specifically about her daughter doing it. Nothing bad about that

This show was one of my favorite shows when I was a teenager...and I really love the books as well.
I did a binge-watch of this show years ago for nostalgic reasons (I originally watched it on TGIF). The first four seasons on ABC/TGIF were really good. I loved it. The WB college episodes (seasons 5-7) were boring as hell. I couldn't finish all 7 seasons. I think the deepest I got into the series was like 5 seasons. I don't even think I watched the finale.

Sabrina was not dubbed here. In Sweden we have subtitles and only dubb for the youngest ones!
Great script, Loved all the actors, don't know all their names. Taskmaster was a great addition to the orginal cast. I think Salem the cat aka Nicky Bakay was my favorite!🐈⬛

I would have assumed that immediately recognizing Salem as a standout, fan favorite character they would have delved a little deeper into his human character, gave Nick at least a one off chance to actually have a proper time travel episode that goes into how the charisma that makes us love Salem the cat won the hearts of enough witches to follow him.
