Kurt's wailing growl was just amazing. I was so into this band, proud to say from the Bleach album. Kurt died and I was so upset. I was 23 and worked at a big corporation in my first real job. My "old" colleagues just literally laughed and said a no-talent heroine addict meets his end...no big deal. They did not get it. I would like to see the melodies that Kurt would have developed in his 30s 40s and 50s. He was a musical genius and felt things way too keenly. When Pat Smear joined the band, I thought it was the beginning of the end. Pat's other lead singer (Darby Crash) died of a heroine overdose and good ol' Pat was nothing but the faithful enabler. His presence meant Kurt could even be sloppier. Not good.
Elmo Blatch wow I never thought about that like that I know I’m one year late and I’m 20 years late but that’s crazy to really even think about idk how I feel on pat anymore idk if I’m mad upset or just don’t care anymore .well it’s not his fault nor kurts
A tad harsh on Pat tbh but I agree with the bits you've written about Kurt, what a talent, would've gotten better with age. Still miss him to this day. RIP
Because they weird af most people who don’t like his music always say goofy ass shut like that but like bands that don’t talk about nothing this man made a whole song about being homeless to the point you feel it. I cried like a bitch when I found this song on accident when I got evicted out my first apartment and not a soul helped me this shit got me through it

This is the saddest song I've ever listened to. I used to listen to it a lot when I was 11 and my parents got divorced. Now I'm 15 and here I am again, but now I take antidepressants, humor stabilizers and antipsychotics everyday and feel ashamed of my self-harm scars.
I love it because it's so not grunge, but also still has all the hallmarks of a great Nirvana song. Kurt did way more than he even gets credit for (which admittedly is a lot)
Speaking of 1994 my cousin was born November 30 1994 on June 9 2013 he passed away at the age of 18 before my 12th birthday btw I lived in Philippines I'm fan of nirvana and you too kurt cobain
Its the changes Music made to him that made him act the way he did... He rebelled against the norms... He WAS changed by the industry... He didnt do what he wanted... He did what the big shot DIDN'T want
Kurt Cobain, ecoando eternamente... Uma voz que se arrasta pelas bordas da memória, e desponta em uma explosão de lembranças e saudades. Queria ter vivido no tempo do Nirvana...
The difference is that back then they didn't call anyone they disagree with a homophobe, sexist, or racist. Those terms were reserved for people who were, like.. actually that. Today, people throw the words around like its nothing. Its been weaponized to discredit political opponents. Its totally different and can't honestly be compared, even though you clearly wish that it ccould be.
To me it sounds more like Codeine than Nirvana. Cool to see all the sub-genres of the underground influencing each other (I hear a little Post-Hardcore and Slowcore thrown in too)
While i like the studio acoustic version of this song i prefer the electric version of this song. Just so much more powerful gotta love those guitar riffs fucking head splitting as hell.
Can you guys see how beautiful the sound of guitar howling is?...
it really is its like my favorite thing about this version
yup, this version is haunting me...
well really this is the best version of this song i have to recommend you the electric version of the man how sold the world.
This actually went dope with batman
see no, hear yes.
Definitely the best version of this song Imho.
Laughing my hand off?
@@onlyastranger7175 In my honest opinion

Just found out about this version. Man...Powerful. Been listening to Nirvana since 1992 and it never gets old.
These feedbacks makes the whole song so dramatic... Listening to this with the highest volume is truely what I need when I feel bad.
That feedback from Kurt's guitar in the background of the chorus is so haunting...... its amazingly beautiful though....

I’m 24 and feel like I’m going to be alone forever..
Used to feel like that when i was 24. Alone and watching black and white tube. But nope, I've grown up happy.

don't be ashamed.
Erfan Thank you. Hearing kind words is always good, especially on the internet where most people are assholes.
Yo dude hang in there, try to get of the drugs too, you don't need that stuff. Pick up a guitar and change the world.
I like this version best so much emotion in this shit
If you want an emotional version, listen to the boombox rehersal, theres a whole different verse at the end where kurt almost breaks down
@@MadPanduh where can I find that version
Ur totally right, the emotion is almost overwhelming. I can't believe this version isn't more well known.
Been looking for this version forever!
I fucking love this version 💕

Dude i wish you had actually replied to the guy. Glad i saw his comment... thought you were randomly dissing Jimi Hendrix.
this is actually on a delux 2 disc edition of Nevermind. it also has a rough sounding version live that's electric

My favourite band of all times... Sweet super rare version dave Kurdt and chris forever!
AWESOME!!
this version of this song is so sick
Love all 3 versions of this song for their own reasons. One of their mellowest songs turned so heavy
what is the third version?
Blaze Reptiles the demo that has different lyrics for the last verse
@CBReptiles1 I don't know man it's probably the studio version, unplugged in New York and this one.
I think this is the best version of this song out there.
Amazing song..
Happy Birthday Kurt.

Kurt's words are eerily relevant today in light of what we have been witnessing lately. God I miss the 90's.
