Good luck in the Brighton!!
Thanks 👊
I feel exactly the same way about the New Balance Fuel Cell SC i absolutely LOVE them and I feel like a total rockstar In them ! Iv pushed the boat out and bought 2 pairs of them as I’m terrified that when V2 comes out in July I might not be able to get them again ! I’m even toying with idea of getting a 3rd pair (don’t tell the hubby!!) I love them THAT much - glad u enjoyed ur new find Chris - happy running 🫶
Do it, your secret is safe with me. I remember buying 2 pairs of Nike Pegasus 35 turbo’s as I felt the same way.
@@ThatRunningGuy 🤭😉😝
Wore these for the first time today and the pain in my toes in unbelievable, they fit extremely small, looks like ill have to go back to the shop and go up a size
Definitely come up small! I went up 1/2 size to a 11.5uk. I’m normally a size 11uk in Nike, Saucony and adidas
@@ThatRunningGuy I'm a 8.5 in hokas and an 8 in brooks but the pain i experienced in these shoes so disappointed especially with the price tag, hoping to hear back from the running store soon to go up a size
Went back to the running store and had to end up getting a size 9 which is very unusual
@@markhill8590 glad you managed to get the sizing sorted.
@@ThatRunningGuy very unusual as I've never had a shoe that size
Great review chris.. 👍 as you know I have these also. Done about 18 miles in total at different paces and like you said they are unbelievable. 10 mile ru. Felt effortless and legs were fresh next day.. don’t want to use anything else at the moment 🤪
👊 Glad you’ll also enjoying that David. They’re dangerous…just looking at them make us want to run fast!
Absolutely love the look of this shoe! The Mizuno, monochrome version of the Noosa Tri! I wish they'd make the drop higher to help keep you off your heels! Strange - hopefully there will be another iteration next year!
The drop in my opinion is way way higher than quoted. My foot sits at an declining elevation and definitely takes a lot of load off my calf’s. Feels more like a 15-20mm heel to toe drop
Really great review… I am a Saucony fan-boy but will definitely have a look at these 👍
I also love Saucony Wayne, especially the endorphin pro 2’s.
Great review, we’re spoilt for choice with the super shoe options.
👊 Great to see all the brands are stepping up!
Got the Wave Rebellion Pro an hour ago in the Kakizome color at last. Went up half a size.. I am 43 in Saucony.. Nike.. New Balance.. But Mizuno in 27.5 cm says 42.5.. But since I have wide feet and some advice going up half a size I did. They fit amazing. Enough room in the midfoot and toebox.. Do seem a half size long but I think going TTS would crush my toes. I did notice that the tongue keeps bunging up on one side when I put them on.. Of course it's the add on.. They saw the sticker with the size to the side of the tongue.. Why not put it like a sticker.. So I cut this out.. Problem solved. Walking around the house feels super strange. Like having a tennis ball under your arches.. I already did my run in the morning so I will run in them tomorrow morning for the first time.. My question.. I have the Stryd hard Fartlek workout tomorrow.. 10 x 1. 5 minutes at 108% CP.. How suitable is it for sprints❓To high? To unstable❓
For me I’ve never had any issues with stability and would happily use it for speed workouts
Thanks Chris, definitely going to get myself a pair
You won’t be disappointed Michael
Thanks for the review chris - How do you find they compare to the endorphins from a stability perspective? I love the feel of the endorphin pro but get just a little too much inwards roll for anything over a half marathon in them
Do you also heel strike?
I heel strike and run in the EPro2. Short stride though.@ThatRunningGuy
Can I ask how old you are? I am much older guy, 72, always looking for shoes to help me hang in the game a little longer. This shoe looks like it could help. Heel striker but was a forefoot striker, back in the day so I have sonmmwme idea.
Thanks for sharing about Achilles and calf: I was concerned there but yoy helped alleviate Mty concerns. I will go up a size as my feet getting bigger. Thanks again. Will order me a pair as soon as I get off the phone.
Hope it feels as great as the prime x strung
Never tried that shoe but still loving the Mizuno
I bought rebellion pro for long distance marathon running. It's my first time running a marathon. I ran 5-10-15-21k before. Does it tire my legs in marathon running? because we can't get support from the heel in any way. we have to run with the midsole and the toe section all the time. and I see a lot of wrist flexion in the videos, will this cause us trouble? I don't want to return these shoes.
Great review of a fascinating shoe.
My most fun shoe to-date is the Prime X.. how do they compare? 🤔
👍 unfortunately I’ve never used the Prime X
@@ThatRunningGuy Highly recommend it. I usually prefer a 8 to 10mm drop.. does the Mizuno feel like a low drop?
@@lifephorce not at all. Feels much much higher. They take a lot of load of my Achilles and calf’s
@@ThatRunningGuy Thanks 👍
Good video, may wait to come down in price. Looking at the novablast 3 as my new runners. You got any views on them?
👊 Never worn asics before
I just bashed out 16 mile in the Speed 3, legs are tired, if I do the same run in the Pro 3, my HR is lower, can these help my HR...Interesting 🤔
I would imagine so as I’m definitely expelling less energy when wearing them. Plus the feel good factor
Just tried the shoe and it’s not for me. Sizing wise…I’d size up a full size fyi. Ran 10 miles and it felt fast in the initial miles but this is not a soft shoe despite its looks. The heel also dug into my Achilles area bad which never happens to me.
Sorry to hear that you didn’t get on with the shoe, we are all so different
