I've found Lalique twice at a Goodwill. First one was a small bird similar to the one you just found but the second was a full size Bagatelle vase in perfect condition with the labels still on. It was $6.00. Whoever priced it had simply never heard of Lalique. Congratulations on disproving everyone that says you can never find anything good at the thrift stores. It just takes patience and a good eye, lol.
You never know what you''ll find at the Goodwill. I just found a Villeroy & Boch, Schramberg vase for $4.99. Still researching it but from the makers mark looks like it dates from late 1800s - early 1900s. Hope I'm right. :)
I found two Lalique sparrows at Salvation Army 15 years ago for 1.50 each. I actually pawned one when I needed cash and went back and got it. Still have those little birds. Love the canisters!
I like the clear, handless pitcher. It had a certain something. How the Lalique made to to the Goodwill shelf without damage will remain a mystery. Lol.
You should make a compilation, with greatest finds over the years 😊 You could make a whole series, split up by categories, or top ten for each year, you have been filming 😁
Swarovski! Lalique! "What's next, a Glassy Baby?" That cracked me up! You know we're all rooting for you to find a Glassy Baby someday, if only so we can share in the thrill!
Years ago, I worked in the gift department at Nordstrom’s and we sold Lalique Crystal. We actually had that piece so the minute you picked it up I knew it was. I wanted to say, it sold for about $150 then. I hope you made a bunch of money off of it.
I found a Lalique Elton John Aids Foundation angel a few months ago in Savers. List price- 350$, used 150$. I paid 3$ for it. Whoo hoo, good for you on the Lalique bird.
15:50 In case anyone is looking for it, the Noah’s arc cookie jar she missed was at 6:10 in “Knew it had to be good” on April 3. She thought it looked interesting, picked it up, checked it for markings, decided it was probably a hobbiest piece so didn’t get it. She even commented on the cute owls (of course, two of them) perched on the roof!
Love , love , love how excited you get “at work “ … I realize you are working … this is your job … it just makes me happy to know someone can truly enjoy their work … great video …thank you
I like to grab a blanket or towel when I arrive to line my cart. I realize some folks have special thrifting blankets/cart liners, but I just can't. So one day I found an amazing vintage bedding set & realized how nice it was to protect my breakables. It only took one broken $200 piece in between these realizations, mind you~ errggh🤣
At first I thought you had finally found your glassy baby. I personally think Lalique is better. I found an Orrefors bowl with a double heart in the bottom at Good Will. I can only find them with a single heart online. Maybe it's something special.
Once I found two pieces of Lalique at our local Salvation Army and something told me to keep checking back everyday for a week in case someone’s collection was inadvertently donated. Sure enough, found a third piece a couple of days later. I never disparaged the clear glass isle again after that. 😅
Congrats! I’ve had a few good finds at Goodwill, such as an antique Steiff cat for .50 cents that I sold for $475.00! Great day, so I know how you feel finding the Lalique! ♥️
Hi Jocelyn 👋 I love, love, love your videos! You seem to be a very friendly, sweet, fun gal, I’ve learned a lot from you, stay well and safe always…. Virginia from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦
No way could I have walked round with that Lalique in my trolley. I would have to have bought it right away and got it safely in bubble wrap in the car!! What a lovely find.
Okay, so you always find the cutest things! The Goodwills in my area almost never have anything nice on the shelf. I live in South Texas. I am always amazed at the quality of the things you find.
What great finds. I always enjoy shopping with you at Goodwill to see what treasures you can find . Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
At time stamp 2:12 the piece of pottery that is from Sevierville Tennessee is near the Great Smoky National Park. It is pronounced like severe burn or severe weather then Ville. If you are not from this area most people get it wrong. I live in Knoxville Tennessee but grew up in Johnson City Tennessee which is about two hours from Sevierville. Just thought you might want to know. Happy hunting. Love your videos
That was such a great way to start your shopping trip today right ? I love when you get excited. You get the giggles and I just know the rest of the video is going to be fun. Lots of great finds today. Have a wonderful evening ❤❤
That vase you found from Tennessee is from Sevierville, pronounced “Severe-vull”. It’s Dolly Parton’s home town and the gateway to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg in the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee! I live only 15 minutes away in Dandridge. You would love the KARM (Knoxville Area Rescue Mission) Thrift Stores out this way - they are Goodwills on steroids! 😊 2:10
@@ginahawks_nest2608 No - the thrift store those items were donated to is called SMARM (Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries). It is a different company from KARM but with a similar mission. SMARM has one retail store, and KARM has several stores throughout the Knoxville area (to include Sevierville). ☺
The Noah’s Ark was the cookie jar that was a hobbyist piece and “had an owl on it?” I think that was it…. I only know that cause I was catching up on videos this week! 🥰 Congrats on all the EPIC finds!!!
Sitting in my Police car in the THURMONT GOODWILL parking lot watching this lol slow midnight shift and happened across a local picker! I own a really large yard sale in Blue Ridge Summit, PA, you should come check it out, have lots of things you would probably love!
Grease pencil on satin glass? Spritz with WD40 and rub gently to remove the grease, then use either Simple Green (degreaser)or Formula 409 to remove the oily WD40 residue. Wash in warm soapy water. Works like a charm.
You should have bought that beautiful large oval picture of the Guardian Angel & 2 children in the gold frame. That picture is very collectible & would be great for your booth. I actually have that exact one in the oval gold frame....and 2 other copies of that same picture in different sizes & different frames. I just love that picture so much. I'm 58 & I remember that picture from my childhood
The glass plate you dug for at 8:20 is pebble leaf by Indiana Glass! I'm not sure of it's value but I collect it here in Australia. I spotted a gorgeous punch bowl in the same design in one of your recent videos as well!
My late father used to say to us x5 sisters and a brother " when in town keep your window down " meaning to look around all the time as you don't know what is under your feet
Cambridge Glass did a clear glass line that had the square bottom like the piece you attributed to someone else. They used plantinum. My grandma had multiple pieces just like you showed.
That goodwill was packed with great treasures! I find that you, Dagny, and The Trifting Twins have access to THE best goodwill! Lucky!! Happy thrifting 😊
So it made me laugh out loud when you said Sevierville TN . Might want to google how to pronounce it . So many say it the way you did but it was funny hearing it ! I love watching you !
I have a Lalique bookend I got from an estate sale. Never found anything quite that nice in a Goodwill! I also never see John Perry there either. Great haul today!
You better not retire. A lot of people would be very unhappy!! Wow that Lalique(sp?) Was beautiful. Good for you. Love how excited you get when you find certain things
On the glass pitcher with hole in the center, we sold one like that when I worked @ Crate & Barrel 20+ years ago. It was a great design & very popular. Nice quality glass made by Krosno, Poland (if I recall correctly). Great finds today!! Super excited for you 😃!
Wow you made a killing. We have 2 Goodwills here and they aren't worth a flip. I heard we have quite a few in surrounding towns but I just haven't had the time to go check them out. The thrift stores are a hit or miss. I generally just stick with market place.
I have found all the "superfine" glass and crystal while thrifting.....Lalique, Baccarat, Steuben, Orrefors, Moser, St Louis, Daum, Val StLambert, Hoya, and on......the pieces are fewer and farther between as of late, unfortunately
Oh congrats! How exciting. All the Glassy babys are sitting on Goodwil online for far more than they are worth, so I doubt they'll show up at the stores again.
I found a small Lalique bird at a yard sale once for 25 cents! It had a small flea bite on the beak but my son claimed it and took it to his apartment so no great profit on that!
So excited for you!!!! I have yet to find Lalique, Glassy Baby or Fire and Light…. Yet. My best finds to date other than an immense amount of gold jewelry have been Murano bookends and a David Yurman sterling 18k with Citrines. I kept them both. You most certainly had a great trip to that goodwill. One good find after another. Great job!!!!!! You are authentic, you and Andrew together crack me up and you have a beautiful family including your parents and sister. Have a wonderful Easter!!!!!
Great finds today, Jocelyn! I saw a clear square glass canister set with rounded wooden tops that looked vintage. I think that those could have been a BOLO.

Strawberry Shortcake is about 1980! Still have the shorts I made out a similar print for 10 year old. I can always, lol, date by my children!
Also, those Sears and Roebuck canisters… I found them at the Salvation Army in Washington state.
I found a lalique vase at goodwill, too. The 'Oursin' or sea urchin vase. Perfect condition, only $5. An excellent flip for profit, that one!
You never know what you''ll find at the Goodwill. I just found a Villeroy & Boch, Schramberg vase for $4.99. Still researching it but from the makers mark looks like it dates from late 1800s - early 1900s. Hope I'm right. :)
I can't wait to see the SOLD one for these finds!!!

I used to sell Lalique at a high end antique store inside the Hotel del Coronado… so beautiful.
I found a Lalique serving plate at my Goodwill for $1.99. It’s gorgeous! It’s my best thrift find to date.
When you titled this - now I can retire - I thought you found a glassy baby! But that Lalique was lovely!
Me too
Same!
Same 😂
I thought she had found her yellow Pyrex bowl lol
I thought the same thing!!

It’s my favorite time of the day! CLL IS AT GOODWILL!!! My fave videos ALWAYS!!!!💜🫶🏼💜🫶🏼💜🫶🏼
Thought it was a Glassy Baby find. Lalique find is awesome!
Girl. You were geeking out big time. I was giggling!
I found a Lalique Elton John Aids Foundation angel a few months ago in Savers. List price- 350$, used 150$. I paid 3$ for it. Whoo hoo, good for you on the Lalique bird.
Those Sears a Roebuck cannisters are the ones I've had since 1972. I love them!
That is awesome; congratulations on the Lalique!!!! This was such an awesome shopping trip!!!! You did so good!!!! 🥰
Can't wait for the sold videos with your Lalique find,, heck all bought in today's buys😅😅😅
My favorite item in today's video: the strawberry shortcake 🍰 sheet
Tip. Take an empty wine box inside with the dividers. Use that inside the cart to keep the glass from banging around.
Wow! That was so much fun ! Looking forward to the sold video. 🎉

THANK YOU! You did all the work! it was a big ark and i didnt think it a hobbyist piece, but....
I just found a napkin holder at our local thrift store that matches the canister set. I just love that design...so cute.

@@christineschiebel2890 I’ve recently started selling on eBay again. 😊
What a great day at Goodwill! You found so many amazing pieces.
I thought for sure it was going to be a Glassybaby! Great shopping trip!
That's what I thought too
I thought the same when I read the tag line. One thing with CLL, she didn’t disappoint!
Me too!
I am 99% sure I found Fire & Light the other day….and I owe it all to you Jocelyn!!! Great video as always!!❤️

I had that strawberry shortcake blanket growing up in 1980!
I’ve been lucky enough to find two Lalique pieces and a Baccarat vase through the years at Goodwills.
I also found a signed Lalique piece but now don't know what to do with it! Too fancy for me!
I’m always so excited for you when you find something special!
The fairy door and earrings are adorable. The wine fabric is great.
I love how much you are teaching others
Lalique in a Goodwill, now that was a totally epic find!

I am buying a 1940 cottage, I get to use all knowledge you have taught me. I have been watching you for years.
Finding Lalique at an antique mall would not be nearly so exciting as finding it in the wilds of Goodwill, right?!
Totally agree.
The teal blue ceramic trinket box was Tiffany. It was marked right on the bottom of it. Pause the video and you can see
I’m glad you checked out the “Tiffany” box. You satisfied my curiosity but darn it! 😊
I love that canister set, it's so cute. Thank you Jocelyn, always fun and relaxing ❤
I’ve only been able to thrift 3 pieces of Lalique and I found one in a antique mall. I’ve been thrifting for about 7 years.

I hate I missed that Lalique. LOL. I was just there. You were the first re-seller I started watching. And I have learned alot from you. Thanks!
Did the vase say severvillie Tenn? That's where Dolly Parton lives at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
This goodwill knows how loud to put the overhead music. I was in grocery management for years and this is the volume that you need it to be.
Great eye!!! I love Rene Lalique!!!Dreamy!!!Also love love that cute kitchen canister set!!!!
Congratulations, Jocelyn. Nice find, it looked like one wing may have had a chip mid-way down? Just a bad angle.
At 5:58 that is Not Lalique.
I thought so too but the other wing was the same and a straight on shot showed it was made that way.
Love the canisters!!!!
Have them untape them and check out the edges before you buy them.
