The view from the top of the Eiffel Tower is magnificent. It shows
how congested the city of Paris really is. One also wonders, how can anyone build such an artistic, poetically beautiful structure with so unpoetic a material like steel!
I was gonna say what a huge pylon, but that's another way of saying it...
It was built by an engineer experienced with bridges, Gustave Eiffel. People at the time also thought that steel wasn't a proper material to architecture, they said that it was improper to artistic means. Eiffel’s work and the world fairs helped change that bias toward this material.
If the sun was going down and all the buildings and the tower were orange, it would look even prettier!

@@colors6692 I didn't make this comment from seeing this video. After I actually visited the Eiffel Tower, I wrote this from what I saw.
From my specific viewing angle, the city really looked congested--a huge mass of houses everywhere. Matter of fact, the people around me said the same thing.
I never thought that Eiffel tower 🗼 inside view looks like this, I thought it's just a plain tower with nothing inside. 🤧😭 I will surely visit there one day! Thank you for this astonishing views you've captured! ❤️

It as even some small shops in there, and a restaurant / coffee on the top floor.
I been there in the retaurant, and the top were so high it was scary.

we were fortunate enough to experience the Eiffel in Oct.'17 but the opportunity to go to the summit was closed that evening so getting to see thru virtual reality was nice. Thanks!
I think it is best to go up when the sun sets on a clear day in Paris.
I recommend you to go up to the top because you can enjoy the night view of Paris slowly.

Great video thank you... Yup the lines are that long 20 years ago.. same people still standing in line trying to get to ride the elevator to the top. I grabbed a soda,, sat on the grass under the tree's. Never did go up and never cared. Paris is a beautiful city, although its fun to walk all over you will be a tired dog by the end of day. Take cabs.,, more expensive but you will enjoy the City better. The Louve is fantastic but it covers as much area underground as 3 large city streets if not more.

Incredible filming. I was last there in 1978,travelled from Australia.... a lot less crowded and I don't remember any high rise in Paris! Love your videos. Your clips are bringing back some great memories.

The Tower is magnificent from a distance and even more fascinating to see the intricate ironwork structure up close and from inside. Designed and built before computers and modern construction technique this structure stands as a monument to brilliant minds throughout the ages. I'm in absolute awe and many thanks for your wonderful camera skill. I may never travel to the City of Lights but now I feel as though I have!

Very beautiful, and at the same awesome and terrifying....Not being a person who likes heights, This travelogue on the Tower is enough for me, and far to many tourists.
Excellent job of filming! I got a very good idea of the shape and dimensions of the base and the curvature of the tower above. The panoramic views of Paris were lovely too, despite cramped filming conditions. You guys are real pros.

As beautiful as it is on video, but it doesn't do the city justice. I've been on top of the Eiffel Tower before, and the view is just magnificent. Probably the most beautiful city I've ever seen.

Myself and 3 friends went up the Eiffel Tower in 1975. That was when the lifts from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor were split and you changed from one to another half way up. What an experience and wonderful views from the top.

I was on the Eiffel Tower when we were in France from school in the 90's. We stayed in Savigny-sur-Orge and visited Paris several times. This video brings back some good memories!

This is a great video helping me re-live going to the top of the Eiffeil tower in 2014 with my daughter on a Trafalgar tour. I also missed all the anxiety that followed afterwards when we had trouble finding our tour bus among all the tour buses. We did a lot of extra walking that day and we were so glad when we found others in our group just as lost as us. We all found the bus eventually as we took turns venturing out and returning to a fixed location. There were just so many buses and visitors. I really enjoyed seeing Paris for three days and a Seine River cruise was my favorite. I also enjoyed our free time just riding their metro and walking the streets of Paris. From St. Louis

Merci beaucoup for sharing! What fun! Just like the fun I had going up the Eiffel Tower a couple of times 50 years ago when I was just 20 years old! Never forgot it! Had crepe suzettes on the second level! I don't remember the lines being so long or the stairs painted yellow. It also wasn't as high tech back then and people weren't running around on their phones all the time! I still have photos of those big wheels and looking down the middle of the tower on the way up! One of the major highlights on my tour of Europe as an art student at the time while being a professional fashion illustrator in NYC at the time! Have great memories and have enjoyed telling my granddaughters about it all and showing them the wonderful pics I have as well!
