The last two days we have had our inaugural LGA Council events with Kiama.
It's been unreal going for a walk, a barbecue, a juice and a drink and some fruit and that real ethos of the man walk of low barrier to entry, walk and talk.
I had some wonderful conversations with guys from all departments.
Outdoor staff guys are on mowers, guys are in the office and the feedback was amazing from all of them about getting us out together and walking and talking and collaborating.
And they're also really excited about part two, which is next week.

I feel is part of our organisation we should be looking after our staff.
We should be helping our staff look after each other, their friends, their family, their loved ones.
We all know that we have things happening in our lives such as incidents, we have things that build up over time, such as loneliness and disconnection.
So, The Man Walk is about giving them the opportunity to go for a walk, they can have a natter with someone they don't really know that well, or someone they know, and just make sure that they're okay so they can look after themselves and the ones that they care about.
