I studied in Aarhus for 6 months last fall, and I relate to when you said that Denmark felt “right” to you! I love your videos and can’t wait to see more of your adventures around the country!
First of all as a long time follower on your channel, I am so happy for all of you, that you feel at home, and really settled in despite the ups and downs, that basically anyone can expect to experience regardless whether they're expats or stays domestically. Also, getting integrated into another society doesn't mean you have to lose any sort of national identity, cultural herritage or anything alike, you can still embrace being American and still feel like being a part of Denmark as well. Embracing a lot of different cultures helps us develop tolerance and understanding for our fellow humans. Just ignore those few haters who got a stick up their ass. They're everywhere in the world, but luckily not the majority.
Thank you for this video! Love your points and you give me a lot to think about. I have been following you guys since your first video. I am an American 🇺🇸 as well living here with my family since late 2019. My wife is French, we met in the US and Denmark is the 2nd EU country we have moved to. We like the freedom of changing countries but I have to admit there is a lot to Denmark, and Copenhagen specifically, that has given us a wonderful quality of life with our 2 kids. We are not at the “we are here to stay” point of that your family is but I get it. The Danish people are wonderful and life here is good. Thank you so much for so open to share your experiences and your journey!!
We do not have a perfect contry, but we have a rather nice one. You´re so welcome to stay. After traveling in South Africa, it is a complete relaxation to get home again - we do have a really safe contry in that perspective.
Another awesome video guys, thanks for sharing in a very honest way. Glad to hear that you are enjoying life here. I hope you will stay and not struggle too much with immigration. You obviously fit right into Danish culture and society. I have even learnt some Danish history from your channel, that I didn’t know about 😄
I'm a Dane. Born and raised in Copenhagen. As a teen, I lived in the US (just outside Chicago) for a year. My daughter was an exchange student upstate New York last year and my son is going to be an exchange student for a year in Michigan starting this summer. I regularly watch your videos and I love listening to you guys' perspective on everyday life in Denmark and some of the cultural differences. So thank you for the time and effort you put into this channel! It makes me very happy to hear that the three of you is thriving and have decided to stay!
I am waiting the last few shows. The one about health is interesting, but I live in Florida, we don’t have to show the wax card. I do also like the health card. We do have that here as well, but I don’t think it is as easy as yours. I am 89 and it is not easy for me to do, so we can sure learn something from the Danes. I am a happy Danish American.🇩🇰🇺🇸❤️
You are absolutely right, can't explain it to people but it just feels like home there. Glad you all have fallen in love with DK and enjoy your jobs. Hopefully as a fellow American looking to suit and live and work there, that something happens soon on the job front to get me there permanently. Great channel and fun follow (on Instagram too) and keep posting great content to help me reminisce in the meantime!

Your videos are amazing. It gives a very open minded view on what Denamrks and Danes are. This video does make it clear to us some of the values of this little country that we should value. You are really a valuable asset to Denmark and I hope you will stay here. Mirandas comments about the pace of life was nice, A Danish philosopher, Piet Hein expressed it in this way "Live while there is life to live".
Glad you're staying, and the way you get around and look into things here, that culture test is going to be quite easy for you when you get to it, you've alreadyh covered a good portion of it already in your videos. And just keep at it with the language. And whoever says for you to leave, maybe they should leave, complaining about some things is basically a national pastime, if anything it shows you've become more danish.
Love that your choosing to stay here in Denmark. You put in the effort and I hope that your rewarded for it by allowing you to stay as long as you want. And I would love for you all 3 to be able to make it feel like home to you, if that's your choosing for the rest of your life.

If I understand the late comment on Danish tests, please work hard to pass, and stay, because you are wonderful people all three of you, as positive and creative you are. Your inspiration is very important for a Danish community.
The reason it feels right to stay in Denmark for you guys is probably the sum of the other positive experiences you have had, some of the reasons you list is also why danes are described as a happy bunch :) security in all regards just makes you relax and enjoy life more, i know that is the number one reason why i love Denmark, on the other hand i often travel to the US on vacation with my family and enjoy it immesly even thou im alittle more carefull about what neigborhoods i go to.

Glad you enjoy our little country and Want to stay and be a part of it. Keep up the good work and Remember to have fun while doing it! :)
I love having "because it just feels right" as your biggest reason for staying. That's the main reason I stayed in Germany. After living here more than 20 years I was back visiting in the States and a close friend said to me, "You're not really like us anymore." My answer was, "Is that a bad thing?" It wasn't. But, like Miranda said the lifestyle is so much more focused on individual quality of life instead of profit, sales, production goals, etc. Now I've been here over 40 years. Can't see myself leaving any time soon.
So happy that the majority of your wivers want you to stay. I'm a danish expand living in Norway so I can relate to your situation and it helps me see these youtube vids. keep staying!!!!!!
it is a small country. -I will say a quick hello when I see you out in public some day! :D Thanx for a lot of fun videos broadening my perspective on my own country!
I think its great to love where you are from. But that love should, in my opinion, make you want your home/country to grow better. If you react towards any sort of criticism with "Then leave!!", then you are trying to force what you love to stay the same for ever. Nothing stays the same forever. Instead, try to use that love to help make your country grow and turn into a better place. Denmark is great, but we can always do better. And im sure people like you moving here, contributing to our understanding of our self and the world can only take us in that direction. So thanks for coming, and thank you again for staying :)

I enjoy your videos very much. I’m a Dane who’s living the expat experience myself in Switzerland, and for some reason I find your videos the perfect mix of relatability: the experience of Danish culture and the experience of taking the leap to try out a new culture and way of life in a new country. Anyways, thank you for sharing. I always enjoy your honesty combined with your positive and curious outlook. And you all three have very disarming humor and charm. Only downside is that you all seem to be both better Danes and expats than me :) Kidding aside, I do find inspiration on this channel to go try, see and do more where I am. Be seeing you next yt clip. Best wishes, Emil

Im not part of any of the teams. my team is Kronborg Knights. games are cheap and fun.

Great people you are. THX for staying, and the kind words. I do hope, that you will not get dissapointed..
Oh cooooool! You were in my hometown. The Tivoli - that place have a lot of soul.
It was a cool venue, first time! Also, the Radisson Blu has a great buffer breakfast so I am happy to stay the night in Helsingborg :).
@@TravelinYoung Great! The best sort of breakfast: However tired one is or whatever mood one's in, there will be something for you.
Nice to hear you guys are going to stay, Denmark just got better with you guys👍😁
Thanks!
it is a small country.
You really cant change an oligarchy as USA
@@thomashovgaard3134 Everything changes over time. That not said it changes to something better.
The way the US is going atm is sort of depressing.
0:53: Aaww.. Mom and Dad had a little vacation..!
🙆♂️🥰🎉👍I'm sure, it was just in the right time and place. Great getting updated. Keep up the pep, vim, and verve. Cheers from Copenhagen. 👋🙂
Glad that you are staying, I do love our videos, it is so cozy just sitting here with my coffee and watching your videos.

Takis, something to try next time I'm in Spain! Fuego does mean fire! If you like spicy potato chips you should try to find some "Chili Klaus chili chips", the black bag is the spicier one, not sure what shop sells them, but you can order them online.

Thank you so much for what you do. My family is planning on moving to Denmark and watching your videos has helped me immensely with coming to terms with the changes I know I will have to make. Keep it up.
You guys are so cool! It warms my heart that you are having a good life here in tiny Denmark.
It’s very interesting to hear about your experiences with American v Danish culture.
One question: How do you cope with the danish looooooong and cold winter season? 🙂
Best wishes
Claus

After living the best part of a decade in Greenland 🇬🇱 and getting diagnosed with sclerosis, I'm really happy to be back in Denmark - it's been a long time, feeling like that, I still consider Greenland my home, but all things considered...

Hi Youngs. I was wondering, do you watch a lot of Danish television plus other countries' channels are available too maybe you have some cultural preferences there and special interests like sports or movies or news and different languages, that sort of thing. 📺
Love your videoes. You have shown me so much of my country
as always a great video, to be honest I was a bit suprised to hear your description of water are pretty close to my view of water, it is the most peacefull thing we have but also one of the most powerful natur strengths that should always be respected. 😊
AND AND proximity to great soccer games 😀👍
Truth
You have told us why you live in Copenhagen, (Danish Friends) that live in CPH. But I was wondering, since you have traveled a lot all over DK.
Where else in DK, would you like to live?. - If You have given it any thought?.
