unhappily i've neglected playing e-violin the last two years but through this man i've decided to make playing violin a very important part of my life!! thank you ed
Saw this guy in York, he just stops you in your tracks. Listening to him made my partner pick up the violin again having not played it for 25yr!! Thanks for making the violin trendy. Keep it up.
This the guy is on New Model Army's Vagabonds. I bought his first album Purple Violin Concerto years ago, he should/could have been really big but I guess he goes along with NMA ethos and prefers the street to the fame. The guy is a genius.
Amazing talent. Thank goodness for the Internet and the possibility to see this guy do his magic. 20 years ago I'd not have been able to enjoy. (well unless traveling to York) :)
It's a shame, I have seen many videos of him... And the odd person or so come and give him a bit of change while 20 or so look on in awe, but soon twaddle off, no payment of appreciation or anything. I'd break out a note for this fella if I had it on me, so it would keep funding what he does best.
+Forbidaxe I remember a few years back hearing him play in Chester, I listened to this song along with his Orange Suite, Then moved away to the nearest Cash Machine and bought Purple Electric Violin Concerto. So glad I got it :D
+Forbidaxe I'm an unemploy3ed drug addict just staying and listening from a distance to not give him false hope of money is enough, I was a street artist for a while in London, I was happy if people came to appreciate my work, I of course wanted people to buy but if they gave me no false hope and said how wonderful my work was that was also appreciated ! it also helped me get women, well I say that I didn't actually get one but I came a lot closer than I ever did before, !
i want electrick violin with lot distortion and learn some kick ass solo !!! oh my gowd . I just bump on this guy few minutes ago and i love his music .
@ghostgal007 A lot of people give money after the performance of the song has finished and while the applause is taking place, in English towns & Cities you will often see a surge of people dropping cash into the performers instrument case, I have even see them form small queues to contribute
@ickleoli Thats because they do not understand what they are listening to, and its live music, something which is not seen much these days its all dumbed down x factor and crap like that on the telly. I show my daughter 70's Prog rock stuff on youtube and she is uttelry amazed
been following ed since 93 but love the japanese lad walk passed with an atari teenage riot top ! xxxxx
