Wow this campaign is amazing, think the Kirovs have the better of you. There’s an order to take the islands so once that Soviet conyard is captured or destroyed the Ai begins sending Kirovs.
In my first attempt, when i tried take the right base first, i just die lol, because the sent Kiroves and i had no air defence at all to stop them from north.
@@zoom3000 yes I find it works if you use your boomers to take out the sentry guns on that first island to the right, using two amps full of engineers and initiates. Capture their barracks, oil derricks ect. I don’t think it’s until you have a con yard that the Kirovs start coming. Then it’s a case of ensuring you have enough cash to build those flak cannons.
@@DavidSmith-fm5lx I have just been playing on this mission, as soon as I took the right base they built kirovs, the best way to do it is by taking the construction yard first as they only ever send the Kirov that way?
@@jampotgimli7951 Actually I’ve had them go for a barracks on the south east. They go for the greater threat I think. If not got the construction yard at that stage.
Can anyone tell me how to "install" this campaign? I copied files from ModDB into RA2 folder (Origin's version) but this campaign didn't appear... (As I understand these missions are cut in half by its creator. So at first I should copy 1st half and play it. After completing it - 2nd half.)
Yes that’s right. Remove any files like all01umd.map and sov01.umd.map first as they are read by the game first if you have them in your folder. Otherwise the game will read them first. Then place the contents of the first folder the mix files csf ect into your RA2 folder. Then launch the game. Once you’ve completed the first six missions the credits will roll. So then use the second folder contents. (Remove the contents of the first file first from your RA2 folder). Then start again. It’s spilt because the missions run as the original YR campaign files. Which only consisted of 7 missions for each side. Any more would break the game, so that’s the reason.
@@Vaporeon134 He had on cncnet it was a problem that someone had when it was originally released, and resolved very quickly. I think the author assumed everyone was as familiar with the game as he was.

Can anyone help me pleaese I am trying to Play on Windows 10 but I cant start new game or I cant Play skirmish. When I click the icons the page goes back to main menu. But when I try to load someones save I can play it. Please help me

Where did you download the game from? If it doesnt work then try downloading from other safe sites.
