It used to be much harder for teams to qualify and harder to reach the knockouts and harder knockout games hence so many quality players never winning it like R9 or only winning 1 like Zidane, both players mentioned should have at least 3 when you think of some of the players on around thar amount or more and also when you think of the many lucky players on 1 who don't deserve to be in the same list as Zidane etc...

Hard to not forget someone when giving names on the spot having limited time. It's pretty obvious that even though Vieri at his peak was a tremendous n.9, there would be numerous players that would take his spot in the attack, case in point: Baggio.
